What is the reason you started your business? 🧐

I’ll be honest, my reasons were totally selfish. I wanted to work less for more money, be able to travel and not be limited to one place. And that’s ok! But, once I started, it was just a bonus that I absolutely loved what I did everyday & that it was extremely rewarding helping business owners reach their goals 😍

I want you to ask yourself this weekend ‘why did I start my business?’ Was it to work less? To do what you have passion for? To work from home?

Now I want you to look at the tasks you do daily, the amount you work daily and the percentage of the day each task takes.

Does this align with the reason why you started? Do you feel as though you are reaching your full potential?

If the answer is no, then it may be time to think about outsourcing some of those tasks that do not align with your reason or goals. That’s what I’m here for! Let’s chat 💌

Hey fellow WFH-ers! It’s been a while!

I want to spread positivity this wonderful Sunday and hear your exciting news from the last month.

Due to some switches in my home life, I have had to take some time to look after myself and loved ones, but that doesn’t mean I’m so excited to be back connecting with all of you!

Tell me an exciting thing that has happened to you in the last month, mine is that my Campervan is finally finished and I’m now a fully fledged van-lifer. What’s yours?

I’m guilty....

I’m guilty of doubting myself.
Guilty of believing I couldn’t do it.
Guilty of comparing myself to others.
Guilty of taking all of these ‘reasons’ and debating quitting.

Until I realised...

I LOVE what I do and why should my own anxieties take that away from me.
Deep down inside, I know that I can do this and do it well...
I shouldn’t care about other people’s comments progress, it’s not a race!
I NEVER want to quit, because I would be taking away the thing that I am most proud of and passionate about.

Don’t get me wrong, those feelings of doubt will never completely leave and I don’t know where I will be 1, 2, 3 years down the line. However, what I do know is that positive reinforcement and manifestation are a powerful force that should be used to move me closer to my goals.

Sending manifesting vibes to all the wonderful business owners out there, you can do it and so can I! 🤍

BURNOUT 🥱

Why it’s so important to follow your body’s cues that you need to take a break..

Over the last few weeks, I have taken a step back from my personal social media to recover from an illness and it has done me the absolutely world of good!

Some cues to follow if you feel you are heading towards burnout:
🌱 being more self-critical than normal
🌱 Lacking the energy to be productive
🌱 Lacking satisfaction from your achievements
🌱 Heightened anxiety whilst working or unable to switch it off when not working
🌱 Finding it hard to concentrate

If you find yourself being able to tick off a few of the listed about, it may be time to take a break, or if you aren’t able to, drop something you can for as much time as you need! This could be by leaving it, or asking somebody to help you complete it!

As a business owner, it’s all about prioritising tasks. For me that was giving myself more time and effort to focusing on client work, which was absolutely amazing!

If you are struggling with burnout as a business owner, it may be time to give yourself that well deserved break, or ask for help! 🌿

SCHEDULING 🤔

There’s no better feeling than having all of your Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest posts/pins created and scheduled for the whole week or even month! 💁🏼‍♀️

This is because, let’s face it, posting is time consuming, takes a lot of brain power and a big commitment to keep up with consistently.

What are my fav apps? Thank you for asking..

I use Planoly for Instagram and Tailwind for Pinterest and I like to sit down for a few hours and batch content create. Is anybody with me?

I understand not every business owner has hours to sit down and batch create though, which is why my organisation skills as a VA can help you by saving the hours and stress I know you would so gladly hand over.

Shifting your mindset is not going to happen over night, but by adjusting the way you approach your daily tasks one by one is giving you a huge step forward.

Help doesn’t just come to you with a click of a finger (although we wish it would😉)

I get it.. you want to try do everything yourself.. because, well.. you can!

However, just imagine the things that you could do with an extra pair of hands behind the scenes. I can see you:

🌱Being booked out but still having the time to get through your to-do list
🌱Having time for self-care
🌱Time to be able to scale and plan for the next year (or more!)

Help doesn’t just come with a click of a finger... (although us business owners wish it would)

I get it though.

As the owner of your business, you want to accomplish every achievement solo.. because, well.. you can!

As a VA I admire that greatly, but imagine what amazing things you could do with extra hours upon HOURS each month ✨

I see:

🌱Becoming completely booked out
🌱Scaling and planning for the next year or more for your business
🌱Having more time for self-care
