Tapia told the local newspaper that the two entities are very interested in Jamaica but the novel coronavirus pandemic has slowed the potential investments.

He noted that this would provide several opportunities for Jamaicans just leaving high schools.

While declining to name the bank, Tapia said the discussions are far advanced with the US entity seriously considering Jamaica.

“They have it on their agenda for sometime this year when they are going to start reviewing the possibility,” Tapia told the paper.

With approximately 250 workers and a high probability of transmission if one worker tests positive and effective measures are not in place, the BPO centre was given the tick of approval by the health officials.

According to Medical Officer of Health Dr Nadine Williams, there are seven BPOs in the parish. However, only five have been compliant with measures needed to remain functional during the pandemic.

Tufton stated that while health officials will continue to work with these non-compliant entities, the ministry will not be slow in implementing drastic measures for those who are uncooperative.

THE BIG ONE!
CSAT is short for Customer Satisfaction, which is a commonly used key performance indicator (KPI) to track how satisfied customers are with your organization’s products or services.

There are several variations to the question customers get asked but the intention is the same. To capture the customer’s feedback.

Respondents generally use the following 1 to 5 scale:

1. Very unsatisfied
2. Unsatisfied
3. Neutral
4. Satisfied
5. Very satisfied

There have been instances where customers mistakenly give a bad review however, through the QA process this can be addressed by reviewing the call and sharing the feedback with the agent.

The GOAL is to get 5 star ratings! Not only does it mean that your customers are satisfied with the experience you provided, making them more likely to return or recommend someone, it also means potentially more business for the company = potentially more opportunities for you😉
