HD Hopwood , a renowned leader in the Jamaican distribution industry for over 80 years had been the preferred representative for over 40 multinational companies and the licensed manufacturer of Ammens and Jergens though its Windsor Laboratories subsidiary. liability and trust. Classed as one of the leading distributors of consumer and pharmaceutical items in Jamaica, it was no surprise that Trinidadian based Massy Holdings realized the potential of the company. In July 2001, HD Hopwood was acquired by Massy Holdings. The acquisition represented Massy’s biggest investment in Jamaica. In 2009, HD Hopwood added Marketing & Distribution Limited, which also distributed several popular consumer goods. The two divisions, HD Hopwood and Marketing & Distribution created a force to be reckoned with and further cemented the position of the company in the Jamaican market. On January 24th 2011, HD Hopwood officially changed its name to Neal & Massy Trading & Distribution (Jamaica) Limited. In late 2013, HD Hopwood acquired the retail operations of Kelly’s Three Miles Warehouse. In July 2014, Massy Holdings embarked on a massive rebranding, with the aim of unifying all of the Massy companies across the region. Neal & Massy Trading & Distribution Limited became Massy Distribution (Jamaica) Limited. The divisions were also renamed to:
