Of all the jobs that we do, audio for orchestra is the most challenging and the most rewarding.
For the typical orchestra this number if microphones would not be used. You would only need a main pair an a few section mics.

What problem does your church have with sound?

"for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Gal6:7-9)
"Garbage in, garbage out"
These quotes represent a principle - something that applies to all areas of life. So how does this apply to audio? If you want to have good music/good sound then start with good input:
- good musicians
- good good vocalists with good mic technique
- good microphones
- good mic placement
- good cables

This is not about being elitist. You can not have good sound outputs with bad sound inputs.
