Vision Perceptual Eye (VPE) - VPE is a research technique which visually displays the perceptions of customers or potential customers. Typically the position of a product, product line, brand, or company is displayed relative to its competition. Vision Incognito (VI) - VI is a form of covert shopping where we enter locations where a client’s products/services or the products/services of their competitors are sold without the knowledge of the retailer at those locations. The main focus here is to gather strategic information on what type of experience customers may be having with your products or services or the products and services of your competitors. VI comes in many forms – from phone calls, online inquiries and most commonly, in-person visits. Typically, a script or checklist of what is expected from an employee and/or a customer experience is developed. Posing as a customer, a researcher then analyzes the experience, collecting data and rating the encounter based on those measures. Educational qualification/certification – The VRCL team is led by individuals with:
Formal marketing research training from the University of the West Indies and the University of Georgia;
Who hold the Professional Researcher Certification (PRC) - the PRC is to marketing research, what ACCA is to accounting;
And have minimum of a Master’s Degree. We have a total of 15 years experience in the marketing research industry on both the supplier and buyer sides. Marketing Research Association (MRA) membership – Managing Director, Trevor Thompson, is a member of the Marketing Research Association (MRA) – the MRA community offers technical support to members on projects. This also helps the quality assurance process. Use of technology – The technological sophistication of the company is also used to ensure a level of quality when conducting surveys. VCRL uses sophisticated marketing research software and hardware to collect information electronically for more accuracy. This allows VRCL to specify how each question on a survey should be managed.
