First Angels Caribbean First Angels Caribbean (FAC) is a group of angel investors investing together and sharing resources. FAC puts the entrepreneurs in front of potential investors.

FirstAngels Caribbean (FAC) is Jamaica’s first Angel Investor Network. The Network facilitates the introduction of entrepreneurs to potential investors through presentations and other mechanisms. FAC consists of individual angel investors or “accredited investors” who are interested in financing privately held companies or ventures that are in an early stage of development or in an expansion mode. Angel Investors play an important role in the development of seed, start-up or early stage ventures and play a “middle role”, funding businesses that are yet able to stand on their own feet or not yet mature enough to attract venture capital. These ventures often exist in a state somewhere between possible failure and take-off. Typically the management team lacks experience in growing the venture and the business needs not only additional funding, but also mentoring to take it to the next stage of development.
