Kafaa International Consulting has completed the preparation of the “Masar” Entrepreneurship and Small Business Guide for the International Islamic Charity Organization, led by the guide’s author, consultant Jamal Husni, in line with the highest international quality standards. The guide is considered the first of its kind in the region, distinguished by its innovative integration of global standards, core values, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence applications. The guide aims to strengthen economic empowerment and support young entrepreneurs and owners of small home-based businesses, contributing to improved livelihoods and sustainable economic outcomes.

The guide’s author, consultant Jamal Husni, holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and specializes in entrepreneurship, small business development, and local community empowerment, with extensive experience in designing and implementing development and capacity-building programs.

Kafaa extends its sincere appreciation to the International Islamic Charity Organization, represented by its Director General, Dr. Mustafa Al-Awad, for the trust and fruitful cooperation, and looks forward to the guide creating lasting developmental impact.

Al-Kafaa International Consulting launched today the End-of-Project Evaluation Report for the project
“Enhancing Self-Reliance and Protection for Refugees and Jordanians 2025,”
at the Landmark Hotel in Amman, implemented on behalf of Islamic Relief Worldwide, as part of its commitment to strengthening the quality, effectiveness, and impact of development interventions.

The evaluation aimed to assess the extent to which the project achieved its intended objectives, and to examine its relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability. It also analyzed the results of the implemented interventions, identified key lessons learned, and provided practical, evidence-based recommendations to inform the design and improvement of future programs, with a focus on enhancing self-reliance and protection for targeted refugee and Jordanian communities.

The evaluation team was led by Consultant Jamal Husni.

“Bestowing Right of Improvement and Development through Education for Orphans (BRIDGES) Project, June 2025”
Commissioned by Islamic Relief Worldwide.

The evaluation was carried out across six governorates in Jordan: Amman, Mafraq, Jerash, Irbid, Balqa, and Karak, using a comprehensive mixed-methods approach. This included surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), key informant interviews (KIIs), and telephone interviews.

The process engaged a wide range of participants—children, parents, and key stakeholders—ensuring the inclusion of diverse perspectives and insights.

The evaluation was led by Mr. Jamal Husni, a seasoned evaluation expert with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and over 20 years of professional experience in development work, community empowerment, and the evaluation of development projects.

تشرف الصندوق الأردني الهاشمي للتنمية البشرية (جهد) باستقبال وفدٍ من (12) مؤسسة تنموية حكومية وخاصة في المملكة العربية السعودية، برفقة شركة كفاءة الدولية للتنمية والتدريب؛ حيث تضمنت الزيارة استعراض تجربة "جهد" في مجالات الحوكمة، التخطيط الإستراتيجي، الاستدامة المالية، تطوير المشاريع، المتابعة والتقييم، وبرامج العمل التنموي المختلفة، بالإضافة إلى جولة ميدانية في مركز النزهة للدعم المجتمعي للاطلاع على تدخلات الحماية والمشاركة المجتمعية، وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار تبادل الخبرات وتعزيز آفاق التعاون لدعم المجتمعات المحلية وتمكينها في المنطقة.

The Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) hosted a delegation from 12 governmental and private development institutions from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accompanied by Kafa’a International for Development and Training.
The visit included a presentation of JOHUD’s experience in the fields of governance, strategic planning, financial sustainability, project development, monitoring and evaluation, and various development programmes.
The delegation also conducted a field tour of the Al-Nuzha Community Support Centre to observe protection and community engagement interventions firsthand.
This visit comes as part of efforts to exchange experiences and strengthen avenues of cooperation to support and empower local communities in the region.
