Engicon is progressing with the design of the Amra International Convention and Exhibition Centre, in coordination with the Jordanian Company for the Development of Cities and Facilities (JCDCF).
The Centre is a landmark development within Jordan’s new Amra City, located approximately 40 kilometres from Amman, and is set to become the country’s largest exhibition and conference venue.

The Centre’s design features four modular exhibition pavilions, each covering 4,000 square metres. The pavilions can be interconnected to form a single, column-free exhibition hall of 16,000 square metres, with a capacity of up to 15,000 guests. An additional 12,000 square metres will accommodate convention and conference facilities.
This flexible design will enable the Centre to host four simultaneous exhibitions or transform into a unified venue for international summits, conferences, and major events.

Engicon’s multidisciplinary scope includes architecture, structural engineering, civil works, electromechanical systems, landscape architecture, and interior design, drawing on the firm’s extensive experience in delivering major public and infrastructure projects across Jordan and the region.

The Centre is one of several projects to which Engicon is contributing as part of the first phase of Amra City’s development.

Engicon's Adham Makhadmeh made history as the first Jordanian center referee at the FIFA World Cup. Today, he takes charge of the Group H opener between Spain and Cape Verde, supported by assistant referees Mohammad Bakkar and Ahmad Al-Ruwaili. The Jordanian crew follows in the footsteps of the late Awni Hassouneh, who served as assistant referee at the 2002 World Cup.

When he's not at the stadium, Adham works as an engineer with Engicon's construction supervision team. He's currently a Resident Engineer at West Irbid Wastewater Network Project.
We're proud to call him a colleague. Well done, Adham.

سجّل زميلنا المهندس أدهم مخادمة إنجازاً تاريخياً باسم الأردن، كأول حكم ساحة أردني يقود مباراة في نهائيات كأس العالم لكرة القدم، وذلك بإدارته للمباراة الافتتاحية اليوم للمجموعة الثامنة بين منتخبي إسبانيا والرأس الأخضر.

وسوف يسانده في هذه المهمة طاقم تحكيم أردني مميز ضم المساعدين محمد بكار وأحمد الرويلي. ويعيد هذا الإنجاز للأذهان المسيرة المشرفة للحكم الراحل عوني حسونة، الذي مثّل الأردن كحكم مساعد في مونديال 2002.

وبعيداً عن الملاعب الخضراء وصافرة التحكيم، يعمل أدهم مهندساً ضمن فريق الإشراف الهندسي في شركة إنجيكون. ويشغل حالياً منصب المهندس المقيم في مشروع شبكات الصرف الصحي لمنطقة غرب إربد.
نبارك لأدهم هذا الإنجاز المشرّف، ونتمنى له مزيداً من النجاح والتألق في مسيرته القادمة.

Advancing major water infrastructure in Seeb, Engicon, in association with IKAM - Ibn Khaldun Almadaen Engineering Consultants, provided project management and construction supervision services for the Seeb Water Network for the Oman Wastewater Services Company (OWWSC).

The assignment covered the delivery of new storage reservoirs in Seeb Compound, Al Khoud 6, Mawaleh, and Rusayl, two new transmission lines, and reinforcement of the existing distribution network to help meet Seeb’s projected 2040 demand and support OWWSC’s 48-hour water security requirement.

Engicon’s scope included project management and administration, general and site supervision, post-contract quantity surveying, as well as project close-out and warranty activities.

In Jibreen, Syria, wastewater system disruptions have led to sewage ponding and increased risks of groundwater contamination, affecting surrounding communities and infrastructure.

Working with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Engicon is supporting the restoration of the Jibreen wastewater pumping station by diagnosing its performance under limited power conditions, identifying priority rehabilitation measures, and developing feasible wastewater treatment options for the area.

By addressing both operational reliability and long-term treatment pathways, the project aims to reduce environmental pollution, protect groundwater resources, and improve public health conditions.

Engicon convened its company retreat in Amman, Jordan, bringing together its engineering teams for strategic updates, focused working sessions, and discussions on strengthening project delivery across disciplines.

Engicon has been selected to provide technical, environmental and social advisory support for Jordan’s Schools PPP program, a European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-supported initiative being delivered under the Mutual Investment Model (MiM).

The program is structured to deliver a portfolio of 41 schools through a phased approach. Under MiM, the framework requires an integrated, investment-grade package that integrates design criteria, lifecycle cost modeling, facilities management performance, and environmental and social compliance into a single coherent delivery model.

Engicon will support the program from feasibility through procurement, covering lifecycle cost planning, facilities management performance standards tied to payments, risk allocation, and environmental and social requirements in line with EBRD Performance Requirements, through the RFQ and RFP to commercial close.

This engagement reflects a shift in how social infrastructure is planned and delivered. It goes beyond designing and building schools by structuring long-term performance, accountability, and service continuity across the full lifecycle.
Engicon’s multidisciplinary teams will contribute across technical advisory, lifecycle performance planning, and environmental and social due diligence to support the program’s delivery objectives.

Within Sudair Industrial City, Engicon , together with Praxis, Architects | Urban Designers, delivered an integrated landscape and public-realm design rooted in sustainable water reuse.

Reclaimed treated sewage effluent (TSE) is used to form two artificial lakes and support a self-sustaining park landscape, contributing to MODON’s vision for human-scaled industrial cities in Saudi Arabia.

The project demonstrates how landscape, infrastructure, and operations can be planned as one system, transforming industrial environments into functional and welcoming public spaces.
