JBFA at the South African Food Tasting Experience Day

The Jordan Belgian Business & Friendship Association (JBFA) was delighted to participate in the South African Food Tasting Experience, an enjoyable occasion that brought together representatives of the diplomatic, business, and social communities in Jordan.

We were particularly honored to meet H.E. Ms. Tselane Mokuena, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Jordan, and to have the opportunity for a warm and engaging exchange in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

As part of JBFA’s informal activities, our participation in such occasions reflects our commitment to building bridges, strengthening relationships, and fostering meaningful connections with the diplomatic and business communities, while discovering and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of different countries.

The Jordan Belgian Business & Friendship Association (JBFA) was delighted to have a warm & highly productive courtesy meeting with H.E. Mr. Gianmarco Rizzo, Ambassador of Belgium to Jordan.
It was truly a pleasure to meet H.E. the Ambassador and experience his warmth, humility, professionalism, and remarkable attention to detail. We greatly appreciated the open and friendly spirit of our discussion and look forward to building a strong and meaningful relationship during his tenure in Jordan.
We had the pleasure of wishing H.E. the Ambassador a pleasant, successful, and rewarding tenure in Amman, and encouraged him to discover the beauty, culture, heritage, and spirit of Amman -Jordan. We are confident that he will quickly feel at home and enjoy everything Jordan has to offer.

Dr. Al-Maaitah serves as the Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurial Projects Center at The Hashemite University, drawing on over 15 years of experience across strategy ex*****on, governance, organizational development, and capacity building.
Key Academic & Professional Milestones.

Q1 Published Research: Authored "Benchmarking Women’s Leadership Programs in Jordan: Aligning National Practices with International Competency Frameworks," published in the Journal of Business and Socio-economic Development.
National & Regional Impact: Her research evaluates alignment with global competency frameworks, examining initiatives like the Arab Women Leadership Academy (AWLA)—developed under the USAID-funded Tawazon activity with the Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD).

The Jordan Belgian Business & Friendship Association (JBFA) successfully hosted gathering on Wednesday, 5 August 2026, at Shams El Balad, Jabal Amman, under the theme of connecting friends and strengthening bonds.
The event brought together JBFA members, valued guests, and business representatives in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, providing an excellent opportunity for meaningful networking and professional interaction.
JBFA extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Khaled Khawaldeh, Director Cargo Commercial at Royal Jordanian, for his valuable participation and for sharing useful information and insights with our members and guests. His contribution added significant value to the gathering and the discussions held during the evening.
We were also honored by the presence of Mrs. Malaika Lombume, Consul and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Belgium in Jordan. Her attendance was highly appreciated and reflected the continued support and close relationship between the Embassy and JBFA.

جمع اللقاء أعضاء الجمعية وضيوفاً مميزين وممثلين عن قطاع الأعمال في أجواء ودية ومرحبة، مما أتاح فرصة ممتازة للتواصل الهادف والتفاعل المهني

تعرب الجمعية عن خالص تقديرها للسيد خالد الخوالدة، مدير الشؤون التجارية للشحن في الخطوط الجوية الملكية الأردنية، لمشاركته القيمة ومشاركته معلومات ورؤى مفيدة مع الأعضاء والضيوف؛ فقد أضافت مساهمته قيمة كبيرة للقاء وللنقاشات التي دارت خلال الأمسية
