Alraqeem, in partnership with Andrews University and the University of Liverpool, is pleased to announce the launch of the Madaba Region Heritage Internship Program. πŸŽ“
This program offers young professionals and recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in heritage documentation, pottery conservation, and digital interpretation in the Madaba region.

πŸ’Ό Available Opportunities
We are offering 3 paid internship positions, divided between two program components:
🏺 1. Pottery Internship Program
πŸ“… Duration: 4 months
πŸ‘₯ Positions: 1 paid internship
Activities include:
A short training course in pottery conservation
Cataloguing archaeological ceramics
Mending, documenting, and conserving pottery and other archaeological materials
πŸ“Œ This internship provides direct experience in archaeological materials management and conservation.

πŸ—ΊοΈ 2. Archaeotrail Internship Program
πŸ“… Duration: 2 months
πŸ‘₯ Positions: 2 paid internships
Activities include:
Coordinating with project directors in the Madaba region
Creating bilingual (Arabic–English) digital heritage trails for the Archaeotrail app

πŸ“Œ This internship focuses on heritage communication, digital storytelling, and public engagement.

🎯 Eligibility
Applicants should:

Be current students or recent graduates in archaeology, heritage studies, architecture, tourism, or related fields
Have good command of Arabic and English
Be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently

πŸ”Ή Previous experience in pottery analysis, GIS, conservation, or digital heritage is an asset but not required.

Alraqeem for Services and Training, in collaboration with Andrews University, is seeking an experienced trainer in archaeological documentation and inventorying to lead a short, hands-on workshop in Madaba, Jordan.

πŸ—“ Start Date: 30 November 2025
πŸ“ Location: Madaba, Jordan
πŸ“† Duration: 5–7 working days
πŸ•› Application Deadline: 21 November 2025 (12 PM, Amman time)

Key responsibilities:
βœ… Design and deliver a 3–4 day workshop on documentation and inventorying of archaeological objects
βœ… Supervise interns working with the collections of Andrews University
βœ… Ensure consistency with Department of Antiquities (DoA) standards

Requirements:
πŸŽ“ Advanced degree in archaeology, heritage conservation, or related field
πŸ’Ό Minimum 2 years of experience in documentation, registration, and database management
