ちょっと理科の話です。

夏の夜空を彩る花火の色は、使われる金属元素や化合物、配合、燃焼条件によって変わります。

狙った色を美しく出すために、材料を選び、条件を詰め、精度高く仕上げる。
夜空に一瞬咲く花火の裏側にも、職人の技術とこだわりが詰まっています。

分野は違っても、良いものをつくるために考え抜く姿勢は、私たちのものづくりと同じ。
勝手ながら、そこに職人魂の共通点を感じています。

The colors that light up the night sky are created by different metallic elements and compounds, along with careful control of their mixtures and burning conditions.

To produce a beautiful, precise color, fireworks artisans select the right materials, fine-tune the conditions, and finish every detail with great care.
Behind each brief burst in the sky lies a remarkable level of skill and craftsmanship.

The field may be different, but the commitment to thinking deeply and creating something truly good feels very familiar to us.

I enjoyed the fireworks at Asaka City’s Saika Festival today.

While many fireworks festivals in Japan are held along riverbanks, Asaka offers something unique. The fireworks are launched from a former camp site near the station, creating an impressive display right in the middle of the city.

The powerful sound and the lights filling the night sky are truly one of the highlights of summer.

We have created a free assessment app called “AI Navigator.”

By answering a few questions, an AI version of me will assess your current level of AI use and gently guide you toward the next practical step.

It takes about five to seven minutes, is completely free, requires no registration, and can be used easily on a smartphone.

After completing the assessment, you will receive an AI Skill Card with your own title and rank. The app also includes a seven-day challenge, ready-to-use prompts, and a personalized A4 assessment report that can be saved as a PDF.

熊本で発生した大きな地震の被害を知り、胸が痛みます。

亡くなられた方々に、心よりお悔やみ申し上げます。
また、被災された皆さま、今も不安な時間を過ごされている皆さまに、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

どうか無理をせず、命と安全を何よりも優先してください。

厳しい状況の中で、救助や支援、復旧活動にあたられているすべての皆さまに、深い敬意と感謝を申し上げます。

これ以上被害が広がることなく、一日も早い復旧と復興が進み、熊本の皆さまに安心できる日常が戻ることを心から願っています。

昨日、ソニックシティで埼玉県内の経営者の皆さまを対象に、生成AIセミナーを開催しました。

第一部はニッシン・パーテクチュアル株式会社 中村社長による講演、第二部は弊社 代表の大町による「AI社長のつくり方」をテーマにしたハンズオンセミナーを担当しました。

今回は公開セミナーではなかったこともあり、終始リラックスした雰囲気の中で、質問や笑いも交えながら進行することができました。

AIは難しいものではなく、自分の考えを整理し、判断を支えてくれる「参謀」にすることができます。

最初は「AIは初めて」という方も多くいらっしゃいましたが、セミナー終了時には、それぞれが自分だけのAI参謀を手にし、活用のイメージを持っていただけたことが何より印象的でした。

AIを活用することで、経営者一人ひとりの意思決定や創造力がさらに高まり、新たな付加価値につながっていくことを期待しています。

Yesterday, a generative AI seminar was held at Sonic City for business leaders across Saitama Prefecture.

The first session was led by President Nakamura of Nisshin Pertectual Co., Ltd., followed by a hands-on workshop, “How to Build Your AI CEO,” presented by Ryosuke Omachi, President of DAISHIN SEIKI Co., Ltd.

As this was a private seminar, the atmosphere was relaxed and interactive, with plenty of questions, discussion, and laughter throughout the sessions.

AI doesn’t have to be complicated. It can become a trusted advisor that helps organize ideas and support better decision-making.

Many participants were completely new to AI, but by the end of the seminar, each had created their own AI assistant and gained a clear vision of how to use it in their business.

We look forward to seeing how these business leaders apply AI to strengthen their decision-making and create new value within their organizations.

全ては、ここから始まった！

2008年、5軸加工機の導入をきっかけに始めた、切削加工の限界に挑戦するプロジェクトです。

今振り返れば、5軸加工機の導入は比較的早かったのかもしれません。

ただ、当時の自分たちにあったのは、
「後発だからこそ、先人たちに少しでも早く追いつきたい」
という気持ちだけでした。

選んだテーマは、デザイン性の高い削り出しヘルメットと、複雑な形状を持つ空冷シリンダーヘッド。

8月に機械を導入し、10月末のJIMTOF2008で展示するまで、わずか2カ月。

時間も経験も足りない中で、本当に必死で形にしました。

これが、大槇精機にとって初めての本格的な外部発信でした。

当然、できなかったこともたくさんありました。

でも、その時に残った
「もっとこうできるんじゃないか」
という悔しさや好奇心が、その後の挑戦につながりました。

そして現在では、大槇精機の5軸加工を象徴する存在にまで成長した、削り出しヘルメットへとつながっています。

あの時の原点にあったのは、完成度よりも、まず挑戦することでした。

設備も技術も、あの頃から大きく変わりました。

それでも、
「もっとできるはず」
という気持ちは、今も変わっていません。

あの時の挑戦を、次の技術へ。
そして、まだ誰も見たことのないモノづくりへ。

これからも、大槇精機らしく想像を創造していきます。

Everything started here!

In 2008, the installation of our first 5-axis machining center became the starting point for a project to explore the limits of machining.

Looking back, we may have adopted 5-axis technology relatively early.

At the time, however, we did not see ourselves as being ahead. What drove us was the belief that, as latecomers, we had to catch up with the pioneers as quickly as possible.

We chose two very different subjects: a machined helmet with a strong design focus, and an air-cooled cylinder head with a highly complex mechanical form.

The machine was installed in August, and JIMTOF 2008 opened at the end of October.

We had only two months.

With limited time and very little experience, we worked desperately to turn those ideas into reality.

It became Daishin Seiki’s first major opportunity to present our technology outside the company.

Of course, there were many things we could not achieve at the time.

But the frustration and curiosity behind the thought, “Could we take this even further?” led us to the next challenge.

That challenge eventually became the machined helmet that now represents Daishin Seiki’s pursuit of 5-axis machining.

The starting point was not perfection.

It was the decision to challenge ourselves first.

Our machines and technology have changed greatly since then, but the belief that “we can still do more” has never changed.

We will carry that original spirit into the next generation of technology and into manufacturing that has yet to be seen.

We will continue to CREATE IMAGINATION, in our own Daishin way.

3日間の研修旅行が、多くの皆さまのお力添えのおかげで無事に終わろうとしています。

細やかな気配りで旅を支えてくださった添乗員さん、豊富な知識と楽しい案内で移動時間まで特別な時間にしてくださったバスガイドさん、安心・安全な運転で旅を支えてくださった運転手さん。そしてホテルや食事会場で温かく迎えてくださったスタッフの皆さまに、心より感謝申し上げます。

旅の途中では思わず笑ってしまうようなハプニングもありましたが、それも含めて忘れられない思い出になりました。

そして何より、日頃から支えてくださるお客様、そして一緒に参加してくれたチームDAISHINの皆んなに感謝です。

こうした時間を共有できることも、日々の仕事に真剣に向き合ってくれている皆んなのおかげです。

また来年も、笑顔で集まり、さらに良い一年だったと言えるように、一歩ずつ前に進んでいきたいと思います。

北海道研修旅行、1日目・2日目。

初日の夜はあいにくの雨でしたが、それも旅の思い出のひとつ。
2日目は一転して青空が広がり、北海道の雄大な景色を満喫することができました。

そして、やはり北海道は食の魅力が格別です。
どの食事も本当に美味しく、日本一の朝食に選ばれたこともあるホテルの朝食も期待以上でした。

自由参加の研修旅行だからこそ、それぞれが思い思いの時間を過ごし、新しい景色や文化に触れ、仲間との交流を深めることができます。

こうした経験が、日々の仕事への新しい発想や付加価値につながっていくと感じています。

Our Hokkaido training trip continues.

The first evening was rainy, but that simply became part of the experience.
On the second day, the weather completely changed, giving us beautiful blue skies and the chance to enjoy Hokkaido’s breathtaking scenery.

And, as expected, the food has been exceptional.
Every meal has been memorable, especially the breakfast at a hotel once recognized as serving one of Japan’s best breakfasts.

Because this is an optional training trip, everyone can enjoy it in their own way while experiencing new places, local culture, and meaningful conversations with colleagues.

I believe experiences like these inspire fresh ideas and ultimately lead to greater value in our work.

We’re looking forward to the rest of the journey.
