In each kit Aurora designs, we think long term. There is nothing like ''If it's good for Dakar, it's good to go'' in our wall. Dakar is an extreme rally, but then again it is for two weeks. We design both the metallic parts and the kits as a whole, to be able to serve you for the life of your vehicle. Not just for a rally, however tough this may be.

The Enduro kit comes with a 100% waterproof fuse box. We've been looking forever for a fuse box that is fully waterproof from all sides. You may ask why is this important. Sand, dust, moisture will actually corrode any terminals. Any good electrician knows that and this is the reason behind many products that have been developed over the years. Dielectric grease being one of them.
During an event, however large this event may be (Dakar included), unless you go through the Salar De Uyuni, all fuse boxes will serve you well when they are new. Issues start to arise when things have been exposed for long periods in moisture, terminals corrode and the contacts are not proper anymore. This results in burned fuses, as well as intermittent faults in the equipment that is supplied through the current fuse box.
All this is solved in the long term with the waterproof fuse box, which comes prewired on our Enduro kit.
Not only that, but we have gone to the extreme of getting a fuse box, which can house automatic blade fuses (https://aurora-rally.com/shop/circuit-breakers/ ). Yes, No need for LED fuses, no need for spare fuses at all! These fuses will serve you for virtually forever, and will automatically protect your equipment in case of a short circuit. When the fault is cleared, they will close the circuit automatically, and off you go!
