Today is The Social Project: WPI Japan 2018 at Yōkai SOHO from 4 pm to 6 pm.

The Social Project: WPI Japan 2018
Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) centre in Japan is presenting this Saturday 8th the social projects made in 2018 in Kyoto. 12/8 from 16:00 at Yōkai SOHO. 3 presentations of 15 minutes each :
1) Urban Revitalization for Yōkai Street/Taishōgun shōtengai ;
2) Augmented Reality GPS triggered app for Kyoto VR ;
3) Sustainable domestic composting system for Kyoto City with Midori Farm

The event is free and you can even get a craft beer from 京都醸造株式会社 Kyoto Brewing Company if you come early enough!!!

New project for 2019: Ryokan Hasu 旅館蓮

Hasu is a group of friends, architects & designers based in Kyoto and Luxembourg, Our goal is to restore Japanese architecture in a sustainable way. Our projects, Ochaya, Ryokan Hasu, and Yadoya Hirawa are located in Kyoto, on the "island" of Gojo rakuen.
