4月25日（土）ロサンゼルス・The Shrineで
開催される
WORLD FENCING LEAGUEにて
ライゾマティクスとDentsu Lab Tokyoとの
共同プロジェクト
「Fencing Visualized」が実戦に導入されます。

当日の会場では、実際の試合において
選手の剣先の動きをトラッキングし可視化。
2020年東京オリンピックの会場でも
活用された本システムが
この度アメリカで初公開されます。

マーカーレスで剣先の動きを捉え
軌跡として可視化する
本プロジェクトの導入によって
国際大会に挑む選手の高度な技術を
新たな視点で体験いただけます。

On Saturday, April 25, at the World Fencing League held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the collaborative project “Fencing Visualized” by Rhizomatiks and Dentsu Lab Tokyo will be introduced in live competition.

At the venue, the system will track and visualise the movement of the fencers’ blade tips in real time during actual matches. The system was previously used on-site at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and will be presented in the United States for the first time.
This system captures the motion of the blade tip without markers and renders it as dynamic trajectories. By implementing this system, audiences can experience the advanced techniques of athletes competing on the international stage from a new perspective.

China Hangzhou Art and Technology Biennale 2025（中国・杭州のYuhang Art Museum）で紹介したDeleted Reality 2025。

本作は肉眼ではただ白く発光するパネル。スマートフォンのカメラを通して見ると、画面にはさまざまな色のストライプが浮かび上がる。

To the naked eye, the work appears simply as a glowing white panel. Yet when viewed through a smartphone camera, bands of vibrant color emerge across the screen.

スマートフォンを介して、人間の知覚を超えた高速現象を体感する作品です。

Rhizomatiks will participate in “China Hangzhou Art and Technology Biennale 2025” at Yuhang Art Museum in Hangzhou, China.

【展覧会情報】
本日10月6日より京都大学にて《recursive v1.01》がスタートしました。
《recursive》は、2024年、東京・表参道の OMOTESANDO CROSSING PARK で発表したライゾマティクスのAI プロジェクト。同年にKOTARO NUKAGA（天王洲）で開催された個展「Rhizomatiks Beyond Perception」で展示した独自の AI モデル《Beyond Perception Model》を発展させたものです。
約17万枚のライゾマティクスの画像のみを学習したAIによる「再帰的な自己学習と創造性の進化」をテーマにした《recursive v1.01》をぜひお楽しみください。

[Exhibition Information]
Starting today, October 6, recursive v1.01 opens at Kyoto University.
This work is an AI project by Rhizomatiks, first unveiled in 2024 at OMOTESANDO CROSSING PARK in Tokyo. It builds upon the Beyond Perception Model, Rhizomatiks’ original AI model exhibited in their solo show “Rhizomatiks Beyond Perception” at KOTARO NUKAGA (Tennoz) the same year.
recursive v1.01 explores the theme of “recursive self-learning and the evolution of creativity” through an AI trained exclusively on approximately 170,000 images created by Rhizomatiks. We invite you to experience this continuously evolving artwork.

大阪・関西万博　NTT PAVILIONにライゾマティクスはExhibition Experience Teamとして参加しました。
パビリオン全体のテーマは「PARALLEL TRAVEL」。zone1,2,3,中間領域という4つのエリアから構成されています。すべてのエリアにおけるExhibition Experienceの設計・実装をライゾマティクスが担当しました。
ライゾマティクス主宰の真鍋大度がアーティスティックディレクター・エクスペリエンスディレクター・テクニカルディレクター・コンポーザー・エンジニアを石橋素がアーティスティックディレクター・テクニカルディレクター・システムプランナーを務めています。

大阪・関西万博の会期は10月13日まで。ぜひお楽しみください。

Rhizomatiks participated in the NTT Pavilion at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan as part of the Exhibition Experience Team.
The pavilion’s overarching theme is “PARALLEL TRAVEL”, composed of four areas: Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, and the Intermediate Area.
Rhizomatiks was responsible for the design and implementation of the Exhibition Experience across all areas.

Daito Manabe, founder of Rhizomatiks, served as Artistic Director, Experience Director, Technical Director, Composer, and Engineer, while Motoi Ishibashi took on the roles of Artistic Director, Technical Director, and System Planner.

Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai continues until October 13 — we hope you’ll have a chance to experience it.
