＞＞個展開催のお知らせ＜＜

このたび、大岡山のLOWWにて個展を開催する運びとなりました。
会期は 3月14日から4月6日 までとなります。
娘が生まれたことを機に作家活動を休止し、そして孫が生まれたことで再び創作の道へ戻りました。
この様な生命と向き合う節目に、長年にわたる旅の中で切り取った世界を皆様と共有できる機会を得られたことを、大変嬉しく思います。
本展では、LOWWならではの美しい額装とともに作品をお披露目いたします。
LOWWは、国内外に広がる優れたネットワークを持つギャラリーであり、アートのみならず、アンビエント音楽レーベルの運営や、縄文織を取り入れたハイファッション・クラフトなど、独自の世界観を発信する特別な空間です。
なお、今回は感染症対策や近隣への配慮のため、オープニングレセプションの開催は私からの希望で予定しておりませんが、初日及び会期前半はできる限り在廊する予定です。
ぜひお誘い合わせの上、ご来場いただけましたら幸いです。
現在も長距離移動の途中、車窓の風景を眺めながら、本日「一粒万倍日」に“種を蒔く”こと、そして命の循環について思いを巡らせています。
植物の生命はワンシーズンの中で巡りますが、人の営みにはより長い時間の流れがあります。その深さと経験というエネルギーに感慨を覚えつつ、この先どのような未来へ導かれるのか、期待に胸を膨らませています。

Announcement of Solo Exhibition
I am pleased to announce that I will be holding a solo exhibition at LOWW in Ōokayama from March 14 to April 6, 2025.
When my daughter was born, I stepped away from my artistic career. Now, with the birth of my grandchild, I find myself returning to the path of creation.
At this profound juncture in life, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to share the worlds I have captured throughout my years of travel.
This exhibition will showcase my works in LOWW’s signature exquisite framing. LOWW is a gallery with an extensive and outstanding network both in Japan and internationally.
Beyond art, it also operates an ambient music label and explores high-fashion crafts incorporating Jōmon weaving, making it a one-of-a-kind space that resonates with a distinct worldview.
For this exhibition, no opening reception is planned, considering health precautions and respect for the surrounding community.
However, I will be present at the gallery as much as possible throughout the exhibition period.
I would be delighted if you could visit and experience the works in person.
Even as I write this, I am in the midst of a long journey, gazing at the passing scenery and contemplating the significance of sowing seeds on this "Ichiryū Manbaibi" (a day when a single seed multiplies a thousandfold)—a metaphor for the cycle of life. While the life cycle of plants is measured in seasons, human life moves through a much longer rhythm.
Reflecting on the depth of this journey and the energy that comes with experience, I look forward to what the future holds.
