As we near the grand finale of the Digital Nomad Week Osaka 2026 Spring, it’s time to close the laptops and fire up the hot plates at The DECK.

But we aren't just buying food from a street stall—we are making it ourselves!

👨‍🍳 Meet The Master: Swipe to see our special host, "Captain Aoyama" 👉 He is our official Takoyaki Master. He will teach you the authentic, local way to pour, flip, and grill your very own takoyaki.

🚋 DAY 8: Local Tram Ride & Deep Osaka Culture Journey! (Apr 9th) 🗡️🎶

Ready to step back in time and experience the real Japan?

On Day 8, we are taking you out of the city center for our MAIN EVENT of the Digital Nomad Week Osaka 2026 Spring.

We will hop on a retro local tram and head south to Sakai City—a historical town famous for its legendary blacksmiths and as the birthplace of Sen no Rikyu (the master of the Tea Ceremony!). 🍵

🔥 The Journey: We’ll witness the intense heat and craftsmanship of traditional Japanese knife and sword makers, even meeting a French craftsman who has mastered this local art!

🍚🎶 The Kominka Banquet: As evening falls, we will gather at a beautifully restored Kominka (traditional Japanese folk house).

We’ll learn to cook rice the old-school way using a wood-fired kamado stove.

And the highlight of the night?
Our amazing host Genki will be bringing the house down with a live Sanshin (traditional 3-stringed instrument) performance!

DAY 7: The Way of Writing - Zen Calligraphy (Apr 8th)
Are you ready to go beyond the surface level of Japanese culture?

On Day 7 of the Digital Nomad Week Osaka 2026 Spring, we are incredibly honored to host a transformative workshop: "The Way of Writing" (道 -MICHI-).

Hosted by Zane, a dedicated Japanese practitioner, this is NOT your typical tourist calligraphy class.

Inside each kanji character carries the seed of the Japanese spirit.

When you write, the character becomes a mirror—reflecting your hesitation, force, clarity, and flow in real-time.

Through repetition and refinement of the brushstrokes, your physical form begins to align.

And as your form aligns, so will your mind. ✨
The Experience: Upon entering, you will wear a traditional Japanese "Hanten" coat to physically and mentally step into the role of a practitioner.

🍻 Optional After-Party: After we find our Zen, let’s grab some food! Join Zane and The DECK team for a casual Izakaya & Bar Hopping night nearby. The perfect way to bond after a deep mindful practice!

🌸🌙 DAY 6: Night Sakura Magic! Illuminated Hanami (Apr 7th) 🍶🍣

Have you ever experienced the magic of Yozakura (Night Sakura)?

As the sun sets, the cherry blossoms take on a completely different, almost mystical glow.

On Day 6 of the Digital Nomad Week Osaka 2026 Spring, we are returning to the majestic Osaka Castle grounds—this time under the moonlight! ✨

This is where the real, deep connections happen. Hideyoshi Toyotomi knew that the best way to unite people was sharing good food and drinks under the blooming sakura.

We’ll be sharing delicious sushi, traditional dango (sweet dumplings), and sipping on sake as the illuminated castle towers above us.

Whether you’re talking about your next big business idea or just sharing stories from your travels, doing it under the glowing pink canopy is an experience you will never forget.
