We recently all went to Okinawa after hitting our 6-month target for the first half of 2021.
It was an excellent opportunity to celebrate not only individual success but also the success of the company as a whole. When we do well the whole company is rewarded and by sharing success, everyone can feel valued and achieve their full potential.

Thanks all for another successful company trip!

We are now working towards our new targets, and hopefully another fantastic getaway.

[Senior Accountant]
A major international health care company is currently searching for senior accountant.

[Your Responsibilities]
Expecting end-to-end operations from daily accounting matters to closing, under support by Accounting Manager. (*not limited to the items below depending on her/his skills and capabilities.)

1. Journal entries into SAP/NetSuite for daily transactions, accruals, and AP/AR settlements.
2. Bank balance and Cash management.
3. To supervise employees’ T&E reporting process (by Concur) working with an BPO company.
4. Financial closing (monthly/quarterly/annual) and reporting (both regular reports and ad-hoc reports)
5. To respond tax audits, financial audits, and internal audits.
6. To handle tax returns
7. Expense analysis vs budget and latest estimates
8. To join or lead Ad-hoc/strategic projects

[The skills and experience you need to succeed]　　
• Good to show any qualifications or a proven track record in the past to show the current skill/knowledge level and the future potential.
• Even the current skill level of candidates is lower than our expectations, if she/he can prove the future potential, we would take consideration. (Preferable to upper-level candidates, though.)
• Minimum 3-year experience in Accounting field as a permanent employee, having basic accounting knowledge/skills
• Fluent in Japanese and basic English level (for e-mail writing and reading). Continuous learning is must to improve and enhance her/his English level.
• Solid PC/system skills. (Strong Excel skill is preferable. Experience in SAP and/or NetSuite is preferable.)
