ABOUT THE GROUP
The Talent Motivational Speakers group was formed in 2010; it is a group of professional speakers from diverse professional background like; medicine, advocates, teachers, police and prison officers. The idea was conceptualized when we realized that over 70% in all Kenyan prisons are young people between the ages of 15-35 years and yet is the most productive age group. We embarke

d on visiting schools giving motivational talks and discouraging young people against crime, as many young people started their criminal activities when they were in secondary schools. Since 2010, we have visited over 200 secondary schools and inspired over 20,000 students across different counties like; Kisumu County, Bungoma County, Busia County, Kericho County, Bomet County and Uasin Gishu County.

Even if it were possible to cast my horoscope in this one life, and to make an accurate prediction about my future, it would not be possible to 'show' it to me because as soon as I saw it my future would change by definition. This is why Werner Heisenberg's adaptation of the Hays Office—the so-called principle of uncertainty whereby the act of measuring something has the effect of altering the measurement—is of such importance. In my case the difference is often made by publicity. For example, and to boast of one of my few virtues, I used to derive pleasure from giving my time to bright young people who showed promise as writers and who asked for my help. Then some profile of me quoted someone who disclosed that I liked to do this. Then it became something widely said of me, whereupon it became almost impossible for me to go on doing it, because I started to receive far more requests than I could respond to, let alone satisfy. Perception modifies reality: when I abandoned the smoking habit of more than three decades I was given a supposedly helpful pill called Wellbutrin. But as soon as I discovered that this was the brand name for an antidepressant, I tossed the bottle away. There may be successful methods for overcoming the blues but for me they cannot include a capsule that says: 'Fool yourself into happiness, while pretending not to do so.' I should actually want my mind to be strong enough to circumvent such a trick.

He who becomes a Prince
through the favour of the
people should always keep
on good terms with them;
which it is easy for him to
do, since all they ask is not
to be oppressed.

WISDOM KEYS - Pick one to open
a door in your life today!
1. Don't get bitter, get better
when people leave your life. They
must regret they did.
2. Life is very simple don't
complicate it.
3. To get the best of life be patient
first with yourself and second with
others.
4. Learn not to take things too
personal and too seriously. You
will realize they were not worth
that attention.
5. Never forget without you the
world will still exist, never keep a
superman mentality.
6. Do the little you have to, but do
it so well everyone remembers
you for it.
7. Smile more, laugh often and be
generous through out your
existence on earth. You won't take
anything away.
8. Everything can't be as perfect
as you wish, but can get perfect
the way it must.
9. Never confuse articulation for
understanding and knowledge for
wisdom.
10. Remaining on the wrong path
no matter how far you've gone,
still leads nowhere.
11. No matter how long you live,
you will someday extinct. Where
you spend eternity matters most.
12. The physical is real but more
real is the spiritual, give more
attention to it.
13. The price tag for being grateful
and thankful is more and greater
doors opening unto you.
14. It is never right for others to
take you for granted, they only
gave you the grant to exit their
life.

Before you cook beans you go through a selection process in which all the seemingly bad beans are thrown away so only the good beans remain for cooking.

However, when rain comes, the bad beans you threw away in the backyard become seeds, germinate and grow into beautiful crops, with luscious leaves.

From them come plenty of bean seeds and the very same person who judged and threw them away will pluck the leaves and seeds for a healthy meal.

You may be judged, despised and discarded today, but, who knows, the same people judging you will turn to you in your moment of glory.

Do not curse yourself when the world looks down on you. Your rain could be a matter of time. Your germination moment could just be around the corner!.

Stay focused on your life goals and give your job the best. The best is yet to come.!

Two minute management course.

Lesson One
An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing.
A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do nothing?" The eagle answered: "Sure, why not." So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit, and ate it.

Management Lesson - To be sitting doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson Two
A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy." "Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull. "They're packed with nutrients." The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree. He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Management Lesson - Bu****it might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.

Lesson Three
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold; the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realise how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Management Lessons - (1) Not everyone who s**ts on you is your enemy. (2) Not everyone who gets you out of s**t is your friend. (3) And when you're in deep s**t, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

This ends your two-minute management course. Good night
