We keep moving with the pilot of the Bread Project in Kakuma, and the early results are promising. In 1 week, we produced 762 loaves, sold through 11 customers, including individuals, restaurants, hotels, kiosks, etc.
Next up, we’re hoping to increase the capacity of our production, formalize distributor partnerships, and project to launch a community bread subscription to stabilize demand and reduce costs to our day-to-day customers.
The plan is to see how to resume the peace campaign, Soup Loop Meals, and fund AIYD2’s programs for digital and soft skills training.
