Starting a business will challenge every part of who you are.

You’ll deal with rude clients, copycats, cash shortages, useless and wicked employees, broken partnerships, tough decisions, and crushing doubts. The version of you that starts the business will not survive unless it evolves. You’ll need to become more resilient, emotionally intelligent, disciplined, focused, and strategic. If you don’t grow - you’ll quit.

Starting a business is one of the most rewarding paths in life but it’s not a shortcut. It’s a grind. It will stretch you, break you, remake you, and test your faith.

Your business will build you… you will be forced to grow or you’ll quit.

23 years old: Left my consulting job.
24 years old: Opened 5 gym locations.
26 years old: Closed down 6th gym. Lost everything.
26 years old: Got back to launching gyms and lost everything for a 2nd time.
26 years old: In desperation, started licensing model as a hail mary. It worked.
27 years old: "Gym Launch" does $3M profit the next 6 months. Then $17M profit next 12 months.
28 years old: Started Prestige Labs. $20M the first year.
29 years old: Launched USEALAN - a software company for agencies to work leads for customers.

31 years old: Sold 75% of UseAlan to a strategic buyer in all stock deal.
31 years old: Sold 66% of Gym Launch & Prestige Labs at $46.2M valuation in all-cash deal to American Pacific Group.
35 years old: Launching $100M Money Models, my new book, that’ll change more businesses than anything else I’ve made.

To all the gladiators in the arena, we’re all in the middle of writing our own stories. The worse the monsters, the more epic the story. You either get an epic outcome or an epic story. Both mean you win.

Keep crushing. May your desires be greater than your obstacles.

One reason many people stay poor
Is because they chase security, not opportunity.
They’d rather have comfort than growth,
A steady check over uncertain wealth.
Security feels safe, but it rarely builds riches.
Money flows where risks are taken.
Don’t just work for security
Work for freedom.

HOW TO HANDLE REJECTION IN NETWORK MARKETING Let me tell you a truth most uplines won’t say out loud:
Rejection is not just part of the business... it is the business.
The people who win big in this business are not the most talented. They’re the ones who know how to handle "NO" without letting it shake their identity.
🔊 “No, I’m not interested.”
🔊 “It’s a scam.”
🔊 “You’re wasting your time.”
🔊 “Come back when you have a real job.”
I’ve heard it all.
And I still showed up the next day.
Why?
Because I realized early: They are not rejecting ME. They are rejecting their version of what they think I’m offering.
They don’t see the vision yet. They don’t feel the fire I feel.
And that’s okay.
My job is not to convince. It’s to invite.
The right people will connect. The wrong ones? Just redirection.
Here’s how you handle rejection like a leader:
✅ Don’t take it personal – They’re not saying you are worthless. They’re saying they don’t see the value yet. Keep moving.
✅ Learn from it – Every “no” can make your pitch sharper. Ask yourself: Could I have connected better? Framed it differently?
✅ Detach from the outcome – Your success is not tied to one person’s yes. Stay in motion. Momentum favors the consistent.
✅ Keep sowing – This is a numbers game. Seeds don’t sprout the day they’re planted. But plant enough, water daily, and harvest will come.
✅ Celebrate rejection – Yes, celebrate it. 100 rejections just means you’re 100 steps closer to the leaders who WILL say yes.
Listen…
I’ve had people reject me publicly, then secretly join me years later.
I’ve had family members laugh, and now call me “Boss.”
I’ve had prospects block me, and later beg me to teach them how I did it.
