Some wonderful on-going production of interlocking 🧱 bricks for affordable housing and small empowerment centre project in Kisumu West Constituency in Kisumu County.

Durable and affordable housing is a major challenge..
We have evaluated this community on their access to durable housing.

Various parameters have been used to cross check if the people live in none durable housing out of choice ..
It has become evident that affordability and lack of technological innovation on locally available materials are the main culprits for the persistence of living in none durable structures.

With the empowerment of the youth and communities, education and quality of life could be boosted, there would be the use of indigenous knowledge, development and the sharing of technology to overcome non durable structures.

The study advocates use of interlocking bricks as away of mitigating the challenge of non durable building materials.

Revolutionizing Agriculture in Kisumu County, Kenya through Rosella Farming Project.

In the heart of Kisumu, Kenya, a transformative initiative will unfold as we gear up for "Empowering Rural Communities through Rosella Farming" Project.

As we approach the closing days of March 2025, the project is set to take toot by distributing locally produced Rosella seedlings, marking the beginning of a new era for the community.
At the core of this project lies the Rosella plant ( Hibiscus Sabdariffa), a resilient herbaceous shrub with a very global history.
Rosella originate from West Africa and found it's way to various parts of the world, including Kenya.
It thrives on diverse climate and is recognized for it's adaptability and very low environmental impact.

This Rosella Revolution includes comprehensive training for farmers, establishing Rosella Farms and workshops on value addition techniques.

We aim to increase income, livelihoods and promote sustainable agricultural practices for long-term food security and environmental sustainability.

We are determined that we will go further together; renouncing the idea that socio- economic change depends on heroic saviours acting on their own!

Thank you and let's aim together to make greater things happen, for greater good!

Self Help Group Approach is a suucessful instrument for combating poverty in a sustainable way.
It empowers the very poor people in the communities socially and economically to live a life of dignity with their families and community.
The SHG approach is a break-through of changing the dependency on humanitarian aid model; instead it focusses to promote the strength and the power of the communities as well as unleashing the potential of the communities through capacity building in self help entrepreneurship, believing that Almighty God is first ! Savings Next! Credit Later!

The issues are that many adult in Kenya cannot access banking services, and many young people are unemployed and underemployed in Kenya, making it difficult for parents to bring in income and save for their children’s basic needs such as education, food, clothing and health care services. The 9th of August 2022 presents a great opportunity for some 22 million registered voters to shift political power ..voting in either AZIMIO or UDA Team.

Kenyans must vote in a team that will quickly re-energize accountability and good governance and public debt management.
The team must fight corruption, create enabling environment for investment, create opportunities for employment.
The Team must invest in the health care, build new facilities to reduce distance to access health care services and strengthen the existing health system.
The Team must promote agriculture, manufacturing and improve local market markets. The cost of farm inputs must be reduced significant!...

There are the issues, the challenges and the problems of unemployment facing Kenyan citizens, yet due to the slow economic growth, lack of start up capital, COVID-19, corruption, nepotism, negative tribalism and demand for experience by potential employers, over 70% remain unemployed. Let us address unemployment problems and create an environment where everyone can exploit their potential through value adding initiatives.
Kenyans voters have the opportunity to shift the political power in August 9, 2022.
It is time to elect leaders with integrity to address unemployment problems and create an environment where the youth can exploit their potential through value adding initiatives.

There is need to scale up identified innovative technologies to supplement age-old concrete and burnt clay brick mortar based construction for masonry work to contribute effectively in achieving the Housing Agenda.
We are on track and seeking development partners in scaling up sustainable dry interlocking block and brick masonry construction for members of our partner self help group members.
These blocks and bricks have low embodied energy compared to burnt clay brick and can be specifically designed as per requirements, resulting in promotion of green construction technology.
