Consistency is a Decision, Not a Feeling.
Most people think they’ll be consistent once they have the "perfect conditions" better WiFi, more money, or a sudden burst of motivation.
But here’s the Day 29 reality from someone building Blu.ke while raising a 5 year old as a single mom: Motivation is a liar.
This week, I woke up with 0 bob for a matatu and had to walk in the rain.
I didn’t feel like a strategist. I felt like quitting.
But I didn’t ask, "Do I feel like it?" I asked: "Is this who I am?"
The Strategy:
Identity based decision making is the only system that carries you when feelings fail.
I decided on Day 1: "I am someone who shows up even when it’s hard."
That one decision led to:
○ 19,100% Blog Growth (Yes, the math is real)
○ 744% increase in views
○ 103,000+ Instagram impressions
○ 29 days of proof that the Compound Effect doesn’t care about your feelings it cares about your consistency.
The Lesson:
Slow building is still building.
The future belongs to the strategists who show up on Day 14 when no one is watching, so they can celebrate on Day 29 when the numbers start to move.
I’m breaking down the 3 hacks that actually worked (and the 20 bob stories behind them) on the blog today.
