Luke 5: 17 -26
20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”
This is the message of the paralytic man whose friends lowered him through the roof as Jesus spoke in a crowded house. It’s a humorous story.
Jesus knew the reasoning of the Pharisees (“only God can forgive sins”) and He didn’t correct them, as any God-fearing Jew would have done if people were accusing him of taking on some action that belongs only to God. He didn’t clarify things by saying, “I only meant that God offers forgiveness to this man.” Rather, Jesus confirmed their reasoning by the miracle.
Like this paralytic, lost people can do nothing in themselves to be saved. They cannot even believe apart from God, since faith is His gift. Yet they must believe! Just as here Jesus commands this paralytic to do something impossible—rise, take up his bed, and walk—even so, He commands sinners to repent and believe.
We all have a responsibility to point others to Christ.
Prayer
Lord, help us to carry one another’s burden as we trust in you for salvation .Lead us to look up to you alone for it is you who heals both the body and the soul in Jesus name. Amen.

Time lost cannot be Recaptured.Time is of essence..Time is valuable and precious.. Utilise it wisely ..
*__It is a mistake to think time is going. Time is not going. Time is here until the world ends. It is you that is going. You don’t waste time. Time is infinite. You waste yourself. You are finite. It is you that grows old and die. Time doesn’t. So make better use of yourself before you expire. And one of the worst things to do with time is comparing yourself to others. A cow eats grass and gets fat but if a dog tries to feed on the same grass to survive, it will die. Never compare yourself with others. Run your race. What works for one person may be that which will kill you. Focus on the gifts and talents God gave you and don’t be envious of the blessings He gave others_ .*

*Both Lion and Shark are professional hunters, BUT:*
*A Lion cannot hunt in the Ocean and a Shark cannot hunt in the jungle*

BARUA YA MAMA KWENDA KWA MWANAYE - SIKU TATU BAADA YA MAZISHI.

Mpendwa mwanangu,

Nataka ujue kwa nini nilikufa nikiwa masikini wakati nina mtoto k**a wewe.

Mwanangu, nilitaka kukupa baraka zangu kabla sijafa, lakini sasa nimeondoka na baraka zangu.

Chakula changu cha asubuhi, cha mchana na cha usiku kilikuwa miongoni mwa changamoto zangu nilipokuwa hai, lakini wewe umetumia pesa kupika kila aina ya vyakula, nyama na kununua aina mbalimbali za vinywaji siku ya mazishi yangu.

Mwanangu, ulichagua kuupaka mwili wangu uliokufa kwa kutumia mafuta mazuri na manukato yenye kunukia wakati nilipokuwa hai nilitumia mawese kujipaka kwa kukosa mafuta.

Umeivika maiti yangu kwa nguo ghali wakati ulishindwa kuninunulia hata khanga.

Maiti yangu ilipokuwa mochwari ulikuja kunitazama mara kwa mara, kwa nini umeijali maiti yangu wakati ulishindwa kunijali nilipokuwa hai?

Kitu kinachoniuma zaidi ni jeneza la bei kubwa ambalo umeuweka mwili wangu ilhali nilipokuwa hai The most painful niliishi katika nyumba mbovu ambayo haikumaliziwa kujengwa.

Ulipokuwa mdogo nilikaa na njaa ili wewe ule na kushiba, nilivaa nguo kuukuu ili upate nguo za kutosha. Nilidhani utanitunza nikizeeka.

Wakati wa mazishi yangu ulimalizia nyumba, ukaipaka rangi na kuusafisha uwanja ndani ya wiki moja ili tu upate kuadhimisha mauti yangu.

Sasa umeniandikia tanzia ukisema "Mama, nakupenda sana, pumzika kwa amani" - ilhali nimekufa nikiwa na maumivu moyoni.

Mwisho kabisa, mwanangu, nimekuandikia kukukumbusha kuwa hakuna mtu anayempenda mtoto k**a mama yake.
