The Best thing you can do for yourself this Christmas Season is to

1: PAY YOURSELF FIRST
What do I mean?
I mean you put aside the little savings for Investment in either assets ( land),Saccos,Stocks in the NSE,Child Education cover, Endowment Cover....
It may seem an impossible feat but a small amount of money put away each month can snowball into an amount greater in the future.

In the current setup,you will be invited in so many Whatsapp groups to contribute ..which is fine and commendable but one caution you should consider is "give within your budget"
If for example your monthly welfare and donations budget is Ksh 10,000 and you have 4 Whatsapp groups ...don't give beyond the Ksh 10,000 otherwise you will be encroaching into other amounts meant to cater for other expenses.
There is no Trophy given to the highest contributor or punishment and ridicule to the person giving the least.

2:TRACK YOUR EXPENSES
If you cannot be able to account for a Ksh 1,000 spent today ,sticking to your budget may prove a big task.
Create a budget according to your level of income,then track all your expenses to identify which areas you spend most .You will know where your money is going.
Don't spend too much on non essential services or goods.
Avoid impulse buying( things not in your budget)
Before spending on entertainment..first clear your items in the budget and this will not only give you a peace of mind but it will help you climb the financial independence ladder with much ease...
