NIGHT PRAYER

Father God, help me to focus on Jesus' coming and on meeting Him instead of on my earthly troubles. Set my mind on You instead of the silly things I focus on. Help me to think of You every day and to pray all the time. I want to honor You with my days and live each day as though it were my last. Focus my thoughts on You and help me to not get distracted. I don't want You to be an afterthought; You are worthy of focusing on. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Morning Devotion

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Colossians 2:6

INSPIRATION
Jesus is at the center of our faith not only because He simply brought us salvation but because He also provides us with a more concrete embodiment of our Lord God. Whilst God is with us forever, his power and depth also remain unfathomable. Jesus on the other hand, who may have departed His human flesh, left us nevertheless a human imprint of God's majesty through which we may better understand and worship Him. Through our human eyes, we glance up at Christ upon the cross, and through Christ, we see but the faintest and beautiful glimmers of what God in the beyond.

PRAYER

Lord, you lift me up on eagles' wings. My own actions have led me to stumble and collapse under the weight of my own burdens, but You have always been there to carry me. Thank you, merciful God, for knowing what I need. Thank you, tender Father, for not giving up on me. Most of all, thank you, generous Lord, for sending Your only begotten son to die for me. I cannot forget these things, and I vow that I shall be forever indebted to You for picking me up every time I needed it. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen.
