You’ll find highly skilled employees underperforming in the wrong environment… and average employees thriving where they feel respected, heard, and supported.
Policies matter. Structures matter.
But culture is what people experience when no one is watching.
It shows up in how leaders communicate.
How feedback is given.
Whether employees feel safe to speak up… or choose silence.
Dear employer,
You cannot demand high performance from people who are operating in low-trust environments.
Culture is not a soft concept. It is a performance driver.
So before asking why results are not improving, ask:
What kind of environment are we expecting these results from?
Because people don’t leave jobs on a whim, they leave toxic cultures and work spaces that make it hard to fit in and thrive.
