💬 Let’s Talk Emotional Intelligence—It’s a Game Changer!

So, you know how we sometimes make decisions based on logic, but a lot of the time, emotions take over? That’s where emotional intelligence (EI) comes in. It’s all about understanding and managing our own emotions and picking up on what others are feeling—whether it’s your clients, boss, or even a colleague.

Basically, there are 4 simple parts to EI:

1⃣ Self-awareness: knowing what you’re feeling and how it affects you.

2️⃣ Self-management: keeping your cool when things get tough.

3️⃣ Social awareness: reading the room and understanding other people’s feelings.

4️⃣ Relationship management: using all this emotional knowledge to handle situations better and connect with people on a deeper level.

It is when you get the hang of this that you’ll see how much easier it is to solve problems, keep clients happy, and just communicate better in general. It’s like the secret sauce to great working relationships💕!

As a Virtual Assistant, emotional intelligence plays a big role in my work too.

🍹WHO DOESN'T ENJOY AN AWESOME COCKTAIL?

I love getting involved in community service, but also love making some Benjamins!( A good cocktail, right?)

And this is why I Love Working Remotely!

Working remotely has truly been a game-changer for me. It allows me to balance my professional life with my passion for community work and volunteering. Here's why I cherish this lifestyle:

👩‍💻 Flexibility and Freedom: Remote work gives me the flexibility to manage my time effectively. I can dedicate my mornings to work and my afternoons to volunteering with Can Do Kids International, an incredible foundation where I oversee various projects.

👩‍👧‍👧 Quality Family Time: Being able to work from home means I can be there for my young family. I can take breaks to spend time with my children, ensuring they get the love and attention they need while still managing my professional commitments.

🎤 Community Engagement: I have the opportunity to give talks to parents and students about the importance of instilling discipline from a young age. Raising well-disciplined children is a topic I am deeply passionate about, and remote work allows me to engage with the community regularly.

🌍Making a difference: Through my work with Can Do Kids International, I am able to contribute to meaningful projects that have a real impact on the lives of children and families. This wouldn't be possible without the flexibility that remote work provides.
