We, the transporters of clean river sand from Mwingi to Thika, Nairobi, and Kiambu, have received information that the Kitui Senator has said we are no longer permitted to carry river sand in that area. This decision greatly affects us because this work is our daily livelihood and supports many families in our community.
We respectfully ask for your intervention and guidance on how we can address this issue in a way that considers both government regulations and the welfare of the community. We are ready to cooperate and follow lawful procedures, but we request a fair solution so that our jobs and income are not lost.
