So how are we supposed to moisturise our hair after the salon visit/ wash day at home?
Is it even necessary to moisturize?
I have a brand new video on how to moisturise our hair, even when we have flat ironed/ blow dried our hair 😊

Hello 🥳🥳

I still see many product pages and influencers saying to rub castor oil or essential oils on your hairline daily and this will grow your edges back or even reverse traction alopecia.
While these oils have great benefits for our skin and hair, they are NOT MAGICAL enough to regrow a part of our body that we have damaged.

Good afternoon 🥳🥳,
New week means new video!!!

The same energy that Seth Godin has lying about the meaning of ' sawa bana' is on the same vibration as the energy some of yall are preaching /believing in some of these DIY hair solutions😂😂 ie VINEGAR, RICE WATER, ONION JUICES, BEER RINSES etc.

Jokes aside
I really have strong reservations against DIY hair products. Yes I know I may be stepping so some toes, but please hear me out.

When natural hair became a trend a lot of harsh ingredients were discussed and I think to some extent this was good coz we now have more gentle and a wider variety of super beneficial products in stores.

However I think this conversations was taken too far when now we started to cancel ALL CHEMICALS forgetting that even the natural produce we eat and how our digestive system works is ALL CHEMICAL.

Today lead trichologist at Hair Hub-The Trichology Centre Muli Musyoka and I break down the impact of having Parabens, Silicones, Petroleum and Sulphates in our products and answer the question on whether they are harmful or not!!!

Happy Monday!
We all want a bomb twist out / braid after taking the time to style it and waiting for it to dry. However, sometimes we find that despite following our favourite YouTubers instructions, we are unable to achieve a super defined, soft and bouncy style. Well, maybe the problem is not techniques installing the style or the products you used. Maybe the problem is the state of your hair and how DRY it is.
Hair Hub-The Trichology Centre Lead Tricholigist Muli Musyoka and I break down what we mean by dry hair and why this could be killing your vibe when trying to achieve cute hairstyles!!!

Mon wrote to me concerned that her edges despite her best efforts when taking care of her hair, were still on the thinner side. She wondered if this was being caused by genetics and if there was anything she could do to fix her thinning edges.

African women like us really struggle from scanty edges, So why is it that our race is part of the problem and what we can do to fix this problem?
Hair Hub-The Trichology Centre Muli Musyoka and I are discussing.

Postpartum hair loss is natural. I promise it will not damage your hair permanently. Our bodies have the intelligence to self-fix this problem. I've talked about this before but we needed to address it again because of how often this question is still asked and some 'magical oils' are still being given credit for 'reversing' this condition.
Trichologist Musyoka from Hair Hub-The Trichology Centre and I break it down nicely on how this is scientifically true and why some women blame postpartum hair loss on babies and breastfeeding.

Sis,
Deep conditioning is the mother of all steps in our hair care regimens. Back in the day when I would visit salons often, I would always opt to skip the treatments cause it COSTS MORE!! 😂😂😂
Now that I know better I have found ways of maneuvering that cost and making sure that I don't ever skip Deep conditioning.

All this to say that if your hair is breaking uncontrollably, hard to style and dull, it just could be cause you're not CONSISTENTLY Deep conditioning.

Click on the link below to understand how it works and why its important!!!

Here's the full video of me bearing a bit of my soul. As I mentioned earlier I really I'm not a share-er, but I did it. I managed to open up on a struggle that really CRIPPLED me!!!! Heh! they didn't lie when they said the phoenix rises from the ashes. I have really cried deep painful tears to get to this point. I promise if you can find the courage, and match it with persistent intentionality, then just maybe you can achieve phoenix status. Knowing who I am is one of the greatest gifts that I've given myself. Now I go about my life looking for words, people, experiences, opportunities that align to where I'm going and I no longer waste time in entertaining those that don't. Though I still get anxious about tomorrow, I feel Confident, Alive, Joyful, Peaceful and Capable of dealing with what the future may bring.

Its my hope that this brave sharing act of mine lol 😅, does leave you encouraged and reminds you know that we are all in this together. You've got this!
