Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with entrepreneurs, MSMEs, and professionals from different sectors. One thing has become clear. Subject matter expertise alone is not enough. Effective business trainers need strong facilitation skills, digital competencies, practical tools, and the confidence to position themselves professionally.
Following the successful delivery of four cohorts that brought together professionals from Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Canada, the Netherlands, and other countries, I am pleased to introduce Cohort 5 of the Business Trainer Development Program.
This program combines the internationally recognized WIDB Training of Trainers, a global trainer development initiative developed by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITC-ILO) in collaboration with Microsoft, with practical coaching on Business Trainer Positioning.
The goal is not simply to help participants earn a certification. It is to help them build the confidence, facilitation skills, digital competencies, and professional presence needed to deliver impactful business training, coaching, mentoring, and consultancy services.
Whether you are a consultant, coach, mentor, lecturer, accountant, entrepreneur, NGO professional, or Business Development Services (BDS) provider, this program is designed to strengthen your professional practice and expand your ability to support businesses and entrepreneurs more effectively.
