I am deeply sorry to hear about the devastating floods in our country and the tragic incident in Mororo-Garissa. The loss of over seventy lives and the ongoing impact on many more is truly heartbreaking. I want to express my sincerest condolences to all those affected by these events.

During this difficult time, it is important for us to come together in solidarity and support. I understand the immense grief and sorrow that accompanies such tragedies, and my thoughts are with you my fellow countymen.

May the souls of the departed find peace in Jannatul Firdows, and may their families and loved ones find strength and solace during this time of mourning. Inna Lillahi wainna Ileihi rajiun – to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.

I pray that the Almighty Allah provides comfort to the bereaved families and all those who are suffering. May the affected communities receive the necessary support, aid, and resources to recover from this disaster.

Once upon a time, an accent king had ten wild hynas, he treated them like his dogs. He used them to torture and eat any of his servants who made mistakes. One of the servants gave an opinion , and the king didn’t like it at all. So he ordered that the servant be thrown to the hynas.

The servant pleded to his master, “I have served you for ten years, given you wise Counsel that benefited you? Please give me ten days before throwing me to those hynas!” The king agreed.

In those ten days, the servant went to the guard who looks after the beasts and told him he would like to serve the beasts for the next ten days. The guard was baffled but agreed, and the servant started feeding the wild hynas, cleaning for them, bathing them, and providing all sorts of comfort for them.

When the ten days were over, the king ordered that the servant be thrown to the beasts for his punishment. When he was thrown in, the audience was amazed to see the ravenous beasts only licking the feet of the servant!

The king, baffled at what he was seeing, said,
”What has happened to my beasts?”

The servant replied, "I served the wild hynas for only ten days, and they didn’t forget my service. Yet I served you for a whole ten years and you forgot all, at my first mistake!"

The king realized his mistake and ordered the servant to be set free.

This post is a message to all those who forget the good things a person does for them as soon as the person makes a mistake towards them. Don’t put out the history that is filled with good because of a mistake you don’t like.
