I received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of Omar Abdullahi in Nairobi yesterday evening.

On behalf of the people of Khalalio Ward, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the people of Mandera and khalalio in this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. May Allah (S.W.) grant him Jannatul Firdaus, forgive for his shortcomings, and give his family strength and patience during this difficult time.

Mandera County bursary applications have officially commenced countywide. Application forms are widely available and easily accessible. I urge all tertiary and university students from Khalalio Ward to apply and submit their duly filled forms to the Ward Administrator or to my office in Khalalio Town before the deadline.
