As a community-driven circular economy organization, Kasarani Sasa Recyclers continues to show how green enterprises can create jobs, support vulnerable groups, and link climate action with economic inclusion.
Our work with waste pickers, youth and women demonstrates the kind of impact that becomes possible when financing is designed to include everyone, including local CBOs and MSMEs in the green sector.

The Big Message:
2026 must be a year of deeper coordination and shared learning across all actors.
For the first time, partners openly aligned on what works, what doesn’t, and what must change.
The commitment to collaborate and invest is clear — this is how we move from potential to real progress.

Empowering Our Sub-Groups!

Yesterday, Kasarani Sasa Recyclers CBO held a capacity-building training for our sub-groups—Ebenezer, Vision Power, and EO Care. With support from FCA, members were taken through topics like group rigid transformations, GSLAs, constitutions, and how to open and manage group bank accounts. Great progress towards stronger, more sustainable community initiatives!
