In line with our cooperative principle No 6 concern for community, and No 3 on member economic participation, our founder member and chairperson Josephat G. Kinyua paid a courtesy visit to CEO Mr. Lengapiani of Uwezo Fund under the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSME Development.

Our discussions were in line with the Kenya Kwanza government on Bottom - up Economic Transformation Agenda. The dialogue was centered on empowering MSMEs, access to reliable finance and promotion of trade both locally and globally.

Have you seen or heard on the initiative by Muthee Kiengei Wa Watoria media personality in Kenya?

As we promote access to quality foods at affordable prices, we also acknowledge what other great people are doing. As posted on his page ".....our free posho mill to the community is also active and we are also offering unga number 2 to those elderly people with health conditions and they are required medically to consume it....." he wrote "The Compassionate Gospel continues...."

This is a commendable job towards the realization of food and nutrition security. May God bless you as we look forward to promotion to access of quality foods. The Maize grinding is feasible through fortification to promote health of the elderly, the sickly and young children.
