Folks, we all must have heard this interesting and common saying before, that as Kenyans, we operate in "...a rudderless and leaderless society..." The endearing truth is that the leadership we have is a reflection of our choices, and who we are as a whole. A human cannot elect a monkey as a leader, unless they are both _monkeys_ .

Our leadership has been wanting in certain areas and this has frustrated our efforts to grow as a community and to move forward and upwards together.

To be able to make right choices we should Intentionally fuel our minds and thoughts with the distance we want to travel, both realistically and imaginatively. If we respect the distance and we commit to go the distance together, there's assurance in not only reaching the distance together, but also better, easier, more accomplished.

ANSWER: Operators are TRULY deadly beings, TIP OF THE SPEAR, and we're a FORCE MULTIPLIER. You get refined weeeeell beyond the abilities and capacities of CONVENTIONAL SOLDIERS, leave alone _normal_ people. And, when it comes to handling our nation's ENEMY/ENEMIES, the happiness is that there's _us_ to give, gave our all in DEFENCE of OUR FREEDOMS, PEACE & SECURITY.

To become a military officer, you're taken through weeks of "interview" in what seems to an endless episode of human drama, chaos and deep suspense - how do you explain one minute being in a class working through 90 math questions in under 30 minutes, the next you're in some rag-order in a mixed-team netball game against that other syndicate, and yet another, crossing "obstacles", and/or helping hull others over the same with little care as to how they land on the "other side?"

These are just, but the highlights, a tip of the "interview"/selection iceberg that is a carefully orchestrated, if controlled chaos that's meant to w**d out dreamers, and pick the choicest candidates to become raw-materials for the follow-on rigorous training to make a MILITARY OFFICER!

Pals, the quality of life we live, is a direct consequence of our fitness (physical and mental) and our overall state of health - which is also influenced to a certain extent by environmental factors, hence defining WHO we actually are. Therefore, everything else we engage in and interact with is largely influenced by, and are a consequence of how fit and healthy we are: whereas some people seem to effortlessly breeze through life, brimming with energy and enthusiasm, others around us seem as world-weary and beaten down as they can get - and this includes the dark cloud of mental illnesses that increasingly affects us today.
