So what is ESG? ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. It's a set of criteria that investors and companies use to evaluate a company's impact on the environment, society, and how it is managed. Environmental factors include things like carbon emissions and waste management, social factors include things like labor practices and community involvement, and governance factors include things like executive pay and board diversity. ESG is used to determine whether a company is operating responsibly and sustainably, and whether it aligns with an investor's values.
