Nakuru County: 6.1% of Kenya's national GDP. And it's just getting started.

Kenya's second-largest economy is Nakuru County -home to the Naivasha II SEZ, the Oserian Two Lakes Industrial Park, the GDC/KenGen Olkaria geothermal fields, and the KSh 130 billion floriculture corridor.

Eleven companies are currently licensed and breaking ground at Naivasha II SEZ alone. This is not a potential investment story. This is an active one. BES 2026 convenes in Naivasha this June to engage it's ecosystem at full scale.

We are proud to welcome Kenya Dairy Board as our official Dairy Value Chain Partner

Mama Wanjiru has been farming dairy in the Molo–Njoro basin for 22 years. She started with 3 cows. She now has 18. Her milk is on your supermarket shelf today.

What she doesn't know yet, under AfCFTA, Kenya's dairy is a priority export product. Her milk, processed, packaged, and cold-chained through Naivasha, can reach continental markets under preferential tariff concessions.

She doesn't know it yet. But the Kenya Dairy Board does.

Kenya's dairy sector contributes ~4% of GDP and employs over 1 million people directly. Nakuru County is Kenya's dairy heartland. The value chain that connects her farm to a continental market is ready to be built - and BES 2026 is where it gets mapped.
