Regina Kagwiria attended the BDS training at a point of despair. The training gave her hope and armed her with lots of business skills and a wealth of knowledge on starting her business.

Coupled with the business coaching and access to startup capital in the form of a grant from KYEOP, she began a business of selling secondhand sportswear and swimming costumes.

“The BDS offered by Aayden was well delivered and it helped me gain good business knowledge. I learnt how to present my business on a business Canvas Model (BMC) that helped me have a vision for my business.

I picked valuable marketing and customer service skills that I practice even to date in my business. Business records help me track my performance and expenses. My business has grown, and I now have a branch at Roosters, whereas I had only started at Kahawa Wendani.

My vision is to expand to own two other branches by 2023 and keep on expanding steadily thereafter”

“My Name is Fredrick Njoroge. I was among the beneficiaries who attended a four days BDS training organized by Aayden Consulting in Buruburu in 2019.
I am a former street boy. I heard about the KYEOP KENYA applications and applied using someone’s phone. The BDS program helped me get some formal skills in and taught me how to start and grow a .
The 4-day program was so educative, and God sent. I gained more skills in marketing, record keeping, managing finances among other skills that gave me the boost to get started in business.
I got a grant of Ksh.40,000 from MSEA and started buying shoes and refurbishing them for reselling. With time I was able to buy the materials for crafting sandals that are a hot cake for the ladies. I had gained technical skills of sandals crafting but I was lacking capital to start so the time was just right. Aayden assigned me a coach who would visit me at Kisumu Ndogo in Donholm who helped me gain practical . I have been able to train and repatriate several youths from the street to join me in my line of work.
My aim is to touch many street children and help them change their lives. My vision is to grow my business into a big production company employing more youths.
