It's a good gesture that consensus has be found on the revenue formula stalemate, it shows that we can shelf selfish political interests for the crunching devolved units, I do believe that similarly it can be done on management policies & frameworks on the Economy, the oversight Authority should put much emphasis on the Public Finance Management Framework to take into account the value of taxpayers money & reduce leakage of public finance to corruption entities

Safaricom company moves its ranking position to be top 10 giant service provider company in Africa ,its net market value (1.1T) estimate together with the resilient and growing banking sector despite the covid pandemic Equity bank & KCB ,EABL also tops in top 100 list.
Market capitalization indicates 80% dominance in the NSE, of these giant firms.Its a good indicator for prospective investors but as an Economist i think more firms should Come on board to provide competitive advantage edge for better value of shares & more realization of investment returns .This is in consideration of market risks ,under capitalization & poor management & challenge of more innovations and financial deepening with an effective self control.

Post -covid Economic Recovery plan, should incorporate the Declining capital markets at its epicenter as one of the strategies to rescicate the Economy, my opinion is check on debt- funding with an alternative to cash-out the crushing firms especially the hospitality & service sectors
