Agro-pests solutions is a retail supplier of agricultural inputs and services and fumigation
products & services. The Business was founded in Kiambu County in June 2021 and
started its physical operations in July 2021, and it is operating in Githurai 45 and its
environs. The
uniqueness of this business is that, even though many shops retail agricultural inputs,
there are no after-sales agronom
ic services offered to the farmer to ensure optimal
production. Also, most individuals do not have the technical capacity and know-how of the
fumigation products they offer in the market. Therefore the main driving force of the
business is to fill the knowledge gaps that are so glaring in the market. In our shop, we pride ourselves on having an agronomist who ensures that the farmer is
addressed on the right products, quantities, application rates, programs ana any other
questions that arise from farmers. Our business model is unique in its operation as it
strives to address the needs of our clients by combining product provision with service
provision. Our services involve ensuring that the fumigation services are done
professionally to ensure the pests do not become resistant to pesticides. The teams
ensure that suitable pesticide concentrations are applied at the right points are optimal and
human health precautions have been adhered to. This will undoubtedly attract more clients
and expand our customer base as we are also educating the farmers through our various
social platforms.
