As we enter the 25th night of Ramadan, one of the blessed odd nights in the last ten days, let us increase our عبادah and seek the mercy of Allah. This night could be Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Power, which is better than a thousand months.

Let us spend this night in sincere dua, Qur’an recitation, dhikr, and prayers. Ask Allah for forgiveness, mercy, and guidance for ourselves, our families, and the entire Ummah.

🤲 Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anna.

May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds, and may He grant us the blessing of witnessing Laylatul Qadr. Ameen.

Let us increase our prayers and seek Laylatul Qadr — the night better than a thousand months. May Allah forgive our sins and accept our عبادah. Ameen. 🤲

Walee akhiiro, su’aashu waa mid jiirta, waana xaqiiq aan indhaha ka qabsan karin.

As a resident of Mandera East, I strongly echo these concerns. What is happening in North Eastern Kenya is a serious humanitarian crisis caused by neglect and poor leadership. When even camels are dying from drought, the suffering of people—especially children, widows, and the sick—is unimaginable.

Every day, families go hungry, patients die from preventable illnesses, and communities are left without support. This is not fate alone but the result of misuse of public resources and failure to protect the Ummah.

Islam clearly warns leaders against injustice and consuming the wealth of the vulnerable. Accountability does not end in this world; Divine Justice is inevitable.

We demand accountability from local leaders and urgently call on the Government of Kenya to declare the drought a national disaster and mobilize immediate relief. We also appeal to the international community to provide emergency humanitarian assistance.

Mandera East asks for its rightful basics: life, dignity, and justice.
