SIYB Association of Somalia was honored to participate in the AI Everything Kenya X GITEX Kenya 2026 Summit, East Africa’s largest launch event for AI, startups, and capital, represented by our Managing Director, Mohamed Sheikh Mustafa Haji.

The summit brought together global leaders, innovators, researchers, policymakers, and technology experts to explore the future of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, and their role in driving digital transformation and sustainable development across Africa.

During the event, our Managing Director engaged with leading technology companies and international stakeholders in discussions on AI governance, cybersecurity, innovation ecosystems, research, and the growing impact of technology on inclusive growth and sustainable solutions.

Privileged to have participated in the 2nd Africa Urban Forum (AUF2) held in Nairobi, Kenya.

This year’s theme, “Adequate Housing for All,” emphasized that housing is more than shelter-it is a key driver of economic growth, job creation, and inclusive urban development.
