MUOSHO MMOJA !
ALIKUWA CHOKORAA BUT LEO NI MREMBO MATERIAL WIFE !!
This may look like something out of AI, but this is the reality.
Many thought it was just a joke or a PR stunt. Some even called me a clout chaser when I chose to rescue Martha Njoki from the streets of Nairobi, where she was battling depression and substance abuse.
Many saw her as dirty, smelling badly, and looking unwell but I did not see that side of her. I saw a human being a mother who needed a second chance, someone who deserved love, dignity, and care.
Today, Martha is smiling again. She has been reunited with her children, whom she lost seven years ago after leaving them in a children’s home and disappearing. The children were overwhelmed and shocked to see their mother again, having believed for years that she was dead.
I want to sincerely thank Rapid Rehabilitation Centre for Addiction for walking with her through recovery, and Baraka Smiles for restoring her smile and confidence.
This is a reminder that when we choose compassion over judgment, lives change.
Let us join hands and make our country better. There are many more Marthas out there waiting for someone to believe in them again.
Above all, I thank God for using me to be part of this journey.
