We are deeply saddened by the passing of Commissioner John Kioli, Executive Director of the Green Africa Foundation () and Chairperson of the Kenya Climate Change Working Group.

John was a distinguished policy expert, a passionate champion of environmental conservation, and a true warrior for good. He dedicated his life to advocating for environmental protection, promoting sustainable development, and creating a better future for generations to come.

His unwavering commitment, service, and leadership leave behind an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire many.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, friends, the Green Africa Foundation and Green Africa Group fraternity, and the entire country. We are truly sorry for this profound loss.

May you find strength and comfort during this difficult time, and may his legacy of service and environmental stewardship live on.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

“Improving lives at the community level is how we begin to safeguard dreams and aspirations.”

At the Warriors for Good Summit, Catherine Karita, MCSI of Britam, reflected on the role of business in creating meaningful, lasting impact within communities. She emphasized that sustainability is not just about business growth; it is about enabling underserved communities to have a shot at life, creating opportunities, and improving lives in ways that allow people to pursue their dreams and aspirations.

True impact happens when these efforts are integrated into existing systems and when all of us take responsibility for creating communities where people can thrive. Because safeguarding dreams and aspirations is not the responsibility of one organization, it is everybody’s responsibility.

🌍 The Journey Begins | Warriors for Good Series — 3rd Edition

The journey to the third edition of the Warriors for Good (WFG) Series begins this September. This is a year-round platform comprising a Summit, Exhibition, Innovation Workshops, Awards Gala, multimedia initiatives, and Social Impact Forums across Africa.

Under the theme “Reimagining the Future of Social Impact Through Systems Change,” the 2026–2027 series will bring together leaders, innovators, organizations, and changemakers to explore how partnerships, policy, financing, innovation, and leadership can be reimagined to create sustainable, inclusive, and scalable impact.

Through learning, collaboration, innovation, recognition, and action, WFG connects people, ideas, and solutions to strengthen Africa’s sustainability ecosystem and accelerate progress toward the SDGs.

More than a series of events, WFG is a journey toward a future where doing good for people and the planet is the benchmark for success.
