We are deeply saddened by the passing of Rev. Canon Prof. James Kombo, former Vice Chancellor of St. Paul's University-Kenya

We had the distinct honor of interacting with him during the inaugural Warriors for Good Gala in 2025, where he served as Guest of Honor and speaker, bringing wisdom, clarity, and conviction to the moment.

An author, thought leader, and astute scholar, Prof. Kombo championed a transformative vision of education; one that nurtures not only knowledge, but responsibility; one that forms graduates who are both stewards and creators of wealth, equipped to solve society’s most pressing challenges.

In his address, he left us with enduring questions: What can we do? What am I contributing? How are we sharpening our contribution and expanding our sphere of influence?

His words continue to echo: “Let us purpose to do something, not just dream, not just lament, not just cry…”

A true Warrior for Good, he leaves behind a profound legacy of impact that will continue to inspire generations.
