The Women in Digital Business Initiative (WIDB) empowers entrepreneurs and businesses to maximise the benefits of digital technologies for their profitability and sustainability.

Developed through a partnership between the International Labour Organization and Microsoft, the WIDB programme is delivered by the ITCILO (International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation) through Lead Trainers who train Trainers, who then train (mainly women) entrepreneurs through a combination of training sessions, self-guided eLearning and coaching. This Training of Trainers is hosted by LEAD Ustawi and Faida Vantage.

INNOVENTURE YOUTH BOOTCAMP

INTEGRATED UPSHIFT, or i-UPSHIFT, is a flagship youth social innovation and entrepreneurship skills building and mentorship program, for adolescents and youth, developed on the best practice tools of ILO, which supports the development of skills for life and livelihood in young people to positively engage with their local communities as change-makers. Young people develop transferable skills through both the training elements and the opportunity to work collaboratively, in a supportive environment to identify and solve social problems in the
community.

With a focus to CLIMATE CHANGE, Destiny Path Foundation alongside LEAD USTAWI and other organizations have organized a 5 day bootcamp (13th - 17th Nov 2023) in Westlands to develop skills among youths (13-25 years) to positively engage with the local communities as game changers.

It was such a delight for our founder and training director TheIrungu Kelvin Senior alongside TAG Africa's Njeri Mariiyu to facilitate the sessions dubbed Purpose & Goals in Mathare with the youth at Canada-Mathare Education Trust. We continue championing LEAD (Life Skills Education for Africa's/Accelerated Development). Keep rising!
