As part of the partnership, we hosted the Nyalore Impact team at our warehouse for hands-on technical training, giving local technicians practical experience with our solar-powered products alongside our engineers.

Together, we’re strengthening after-sales support, building local technical skills, and helping communities adopt clean energy with greater confidence.

We're proud to contribute to efforts aimed at strengthening Kenya's blood ecosystem through innovative cold chain solutions.

In Kenya, 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗴𝗲 (PPH) remains one of the leading causes of maternal deaths, and 𝟮-𝟰 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 who die from postpartum haemorrhage lose their lives because blood is simply not available in time.

At the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 & 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀, convened by the PPH Foundation and partners, one message was clear: 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 is essential to improving access to safe blood.

At Drop Access, we're proud to support this mission through our portable, solar-powered cold chain solution that:

What starts as curiosity can grow into something far bigger than you ever imagined.

For our CEO, Norah Magero, it started with taking apart toy cars and wall clocks to understand how things worked. Today, that same curiosity has grown into locally manufactured solutions helping healthcare facilities maintain the cold chain in some of the most remote communities across Africa.

From supporting vaccine access in last-mile health facilities to transporting blood products, veterinary supplies, insulin, and other temperature-sensitive medicines, Vaccibox continues to prove that impactful innovation can be designed, built, and scaled right here in Kenya.

In 2022, Norah became the first Kenyan to win the Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation from the Royal Academy of Engineering. In 2025, she became the first woman to receive the United Nations Women in Industry Award.

But beyond the awards is a bigger mission: creating opportunities for more women to lead in engineering, manufacturing, and clean technology.

Because when more women build solutions, we all move forward.
