How to Grow National Economy for All

1). Kenya can grow its economy and alleviate poverty by reducing the size of Government
2). Government Overrepresentation could be scaled down by:
i). reducing the number of politicians at both national and devolved levels of Government
ii). abolishing the 47 Woman Representative seats in the National Assembly
iii). reducing the number of Members of Parliament to 240
iii). reducing devolved units of government from 47 to 12
3). These proposals are made by David G Maillu, the writer of Pathways: 50 Years of Independent Kenya,
in The Manifesto of Social Revolution
4). Maillu holds a Doctor of Letters (DLitt) degree in African Literature and Political Philosophy awarded by St Clements University of Australia.

Safaricom Strengthens Customer Privacy In Person-to-Person Mobile Money Transactions

1). Safaricom 's M-PESA Send Money notifications are with effect from March 24, 2026 displaying a partially masked phone number with the name of the sender
2).
The middle three digits of the six mobile number are masked
3).Recipients who wish to confirm the identity of a sender can forward the transaction message to 334
4). The sender of the money will then receive a notification requesting consent to share their full name and mobile number
5).
If approved, the recipient shall receive the full details via SMS
6). Safaricom's aims are to reduce
I). fraud
ii). spam
iii). social engineering
iv). unnecessary sharing of personal information
v).unwanted calls and messages
vi). harassment
