PARENT IN THE MIRROR
It is likely that as a parent you have ever marveled at how the "parent next door" has a way with his children. Whenever he assigns them tasks, they in fact, outdo his expectations.
What could he be using? Is it a herb, is it authority, familiarity perhaps? Chances are, there is one or two things he does above what you do or differently from how you do it.
Interrogate your actions, your instructions, your expectations, your reactions. Rate them, not against your neighbor but against how it'd feel if you were in the child's position.
More often than not, you might find one or two things you wish to do differently.
