IHRM leadership joined national stakeholders in reflecting on this call to action during the 3 Day National Productivity and Performance Conference 2026, hosted by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) at the Kenya School of Government.

The conference, convened under the theme “Productivity for Fiscal Sustainability and Efficient Service Delivery,” brought together senior government officials, governors, constitutional commissions, development partners, academia, and private sector leaders to deliberate on strategies for enhancing national productivity and strengthening public sector performance.

The conference was officially closed by H.E. Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya, who reaffirmed that Kenya must embrace innovation, efficiency, and disciplined ex*****on to drive economic transformation. He emphasized that productivity must shift from activities to measurable outcomes, and that technology, culture, and human capital development are essential pillars of national progress.
