shammy's natural organic soaps are hand made using cold process method with natural and organic oils, butters, and herbs. Each bar begins with a high percentage of nutrient rich extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil f, organic palm oil , sunflower oil, and castor oil. We add fragrant organic spices, purifying clays, tropical butters for their exceptional skin care benefit and organic botanicals
Scen

ts are obtained from pure essential oils extracted from plants. We also use fresh herbs fruits and milk to make the soap more luxurious for the skin and hair. The wide array of natural soaps are avocado , beetroot, papaya , coconut milk, almond milk , vanilla, hibiscus, cucumber , poppy seed, grift , pumpkin , tea, tomato , goat milk, sea sand , tea leaves, moringa leaves, coffee, cinnamon , rose hips, green grams, chocolate, beer, vodka, rosemary, basil, caraway oil, oregano, turmeric, mint, cardamon, lime, cinnamon, and cloves soaps. We use absolutely no artificial colorant to make our soaps. The color different you see on our soaps from orange, green, yellow, brown, cream or red are due to the ingredient themselves,. We also use no artificial latherers and donโ€™t add any chemical hardener of any type. Any type of ground botanical added to our soap, wether aloe vera, hibiscus flower or medicinal herbs are included within the ingredient . There are also many animal products that may be used in soap. We use goat milk in the lavender soap to make it luxurious and it is the only soap that has animal product for those clients that donโ€™t use by products. Natural soaps are typically hypo allergenic because of the fact that they are made from natural ingredient and nothing extra is added during creation. Another added benefit of using hand made soap is that they will typically last longer than most other soap and they donโ€™t turn goo. Home made soaps are of the best choice for sensitive skin, primary reason being they do not contain harsh sulfates which are contained in commercial soaps that react to sensitive skin by causing problems such as irritation, rashes, dryness, itching and some other ( more rare) side effects. NB: Itโ€™s always a good idea to consult a physician before switching any product that you use on a regular basis just to make sure you will not have any adverse reaction to it.

I've had the best 3yrs since I made my first batch of soap.
The ups, downs, tears, laughter, shock, anger, betrayal & excitement have been one hec of an amazing journey for me. I made friends and gained loyalty from strangers that have become family. It's one journey that I wouldn't trade for nothing. All that said, I believe it's time for me to take a little break and catch up on my health. My little company has given me life. Pushed me to levels I never thought I'd be at. Had to get up and deal with production no matter how sick I was because my clients made the end results worth it all through.
I still have so much I would like to share in the Kenyan market. My aim has been to reach LUSH levels.. Well, despite all the challenges that came with finding raw products in Kenya. The fact that I never wanted to compromise slowed me down a little but what's business without the many challenges? If it wasn't gonna work on me, why would I sell it to my clients?

For the next 6months, I will stop all production but the research for better products, packaging, pricing, distribution and marketing continues during my travel (I'll call it a work holiday ๐Ÿ˜‰) in shaa Allah.

I deeply apologize for the inconvenience ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข but i really do need to take this break.
I'll be sharing a few Kenyan companies(I trust) that create natural products to keep you going and of course I have a gazillion DIY'S for those with very sensitive skin.

I really do appreciate the love/support given my way. Thank you so much my darling soapies ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–

from - This is an angry long post. This is a post to our Women Rep Esther Passaris you can save this situation . I'm sure by now you have heard about the insecurity at the largest referral hospital, Kenyatta National Hospital. This has gone on for a very long time, actually this has gone on for decades under the watch of the management. You are very aware that our WOMEN ARE BEING R***D BY MORGUE ATTENDANTS. YOU ARE AWARE WOMEN CANNOT GO AND BREASTFEED THEIR BABIES WITHOUT BEING ATTACKED. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS???? Women going through CS is already enough pain. Then R**E. I'M ANGRY. I'M SAD. THE WOMEN IN THIS NATION ARE NOT SAFE ANYWHERE. LOOK AT ALL THE S**T WE ARE GOING THROUGH AS WOMEN. KENYATTA NATIONAL HOSPITAL IS A SCARY ZONE. I'VE BEEN THERE A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THE AURA OF INSECURITY IS IMMINENT. DURING THE DAY, YOU BATTLE WITH PICKPOCKETS IN THE LIFTS AND ON THE STAIRCASE, AT NIGHT OUR WOMEN ARE BEING R***D BY MORGUE ATTENDANTS.
THIS IS MADNESS. THIS IS A NATION THAT NEEDS ACTION. HEADS NEED TO ROLL.
THIS IS THE HIGHEST ABUSE OF WOMEN AND HUMAN RIGHTS.
DON'T EVEN TRY TO THINK OF WHAT WOMEN WHO'VE UNDERGONE CS GO THROUGH. THEN WITH THE STITCHES, THEY'RE FORCED TO WALK UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS LEST THEY MEET WITH THESE RAPISTS.
C.E.O OF KENYATTA NATIONAL HOSPITAL IS A WOMAN. THIS HAS GONE ON UNDER HER WATCH. THE WOMEN OF THIS COUNTRY DESERVE THEIR RIGHTS.
THIS SHOULD NOT JUST END ON SOCIAL MEDIA COS ANYONE OF US COULD END UP THERE.
WE NEED TO STAND UP FOR THE WOMEN. WE NEED TO STAND UP FOR POOR WOMEN.
IT IS NOT A CRIME TO GIVE BIRTH.
LEAVE OUR BODIES ALONE.
WE ARE DAMN TIRED.
To our women rep please stand up for the voiceless women. We all know that the CEO will claim this as rumours to protect her job. As for the Health CS, he needs to explain to us why this is ongoing. -

TIME IS DAMN UP!
from - I'm sharing my story i have it easier than my fellow women at Kenyatta...I've spent all morning talking with my mother. I've cried. I've wailed for our women.
You see I've undergone 10 surgeries and 3 specialised ones to go. So after i leave the theatre, i cannot walk. Therefore i use a bedpan for a few days. If i need to p*e i have to call a nurse. If i need to sh&* i have to call a nurse. The nurse comes with this metal pan that is placed under my ass and i have to be lifted to fit on it lest i mess my bed. I'm stitched up and tubes ran from my right side to a plastic drainer. After a few days I'm always advised to get out of bed and walk. Well if i need to go the toilet after I've started walking, i need to call the nurse so we can detach the bottle and i carry it to the toilet. Now remember I'm stitched up. The pain is immense, bedsores have also formed on my back because i sleep facing up. I have no support because i need to gain strength. The walk from my bed to the toilet is the longest. Never mind that i can't bend once I'm there. I'm still holding on to my drainer bottler because if i let it go, it will mess up my lungs. It's draining water, blood and air from my lungs for the next 5days.
All this was caused by periods and the condition I've been battling known as thoracic endometriosis.
My mother just shared what she went through when she gave birth to us. The stitches. The cuts. The pain. The agony. And she was a single mother.
Then we think about Kenyatta National Hospital. Women who've undergone CS and given birth naturally have it worse than me. They undergo worse pain than what I've described. Then to think they're in dangers eye of RAPISTS. And don't look aside and say those women are not you. You could easily end up at KENYATTA NATIONAL HOSPITAL. Our women need our support. They need our voices.
Imagine having to wake up at 3am to breastfeed your child while your stitched up and you can't take the lift. Imagine going up and down the stairs in stitches. Imagine the pain. Heck when your va**na is ripped and stitched up, you can't even p*e. You can't even squat.

In the new year, I hope you learn to walk away from what is not meant to be yours.
In the new year, I hope you learn to walk away from anyone who is not good for you.
I hope you let them go with grace, dignity, and lightness, watching them fade into the backdrop of your life as you open your hands and your heart to someone new, someone better for you, someone who is meant for you.
In the new year, I hope you learn to walk away from the toxic ideas youโ€™ve held about yourself.
I hope you learn to look at the person in the mirror with the same love youโ€™re giving everyone else. I hope you learn to treat yourself with respect and kindness, forgetting about the people who taught you that you deserved any different.
In the new year, I hope you learn to walk away from expectations that you have no interest in fulfilling.
I hope you learn to reject a life that is not made by you, for you. I hope you learn to dismiss the opinions of those who do not have your best interests in mind. I hope you learn to tune out the endless loop of societyโ€™s ideas of what you should be and what you should do and I hope you make up your mind about who you are, on your own terms.
But most of all, in the new year, I hope you learn to run towards what lights your heart on fire.
I hope you grab onto the people who make you see this world differently, in a better, more positive light. I hope you hold them and love them with all you have. I hope you allow them to do the same to you.
I hope you find songs and ideas and art that make you feel glad to be alive, right here, right now, so you were able to experience them by existing at just the right moment. I hope you find passion in everyday life and I hope you find adventure where you least expect it.
I hope you let passion and hard work and kindness be the guideposts of your life.
But most of all โ€” I hope you live. I hope you live. Itโ€™s truly as simple as that.

Things don't stay the same forever. People change. Seasons change. Cities change. Countries change. Cultures change. But you, evolve. Look inside your soul for a minute and you'll know, this universe has it's own ways. Knowing yourself is the greatest gift you could give to yourself.
